With the BBC saying the game is likely to be played in March , these are the available Wednesdays

Saturday 8th March is also a possibility..

I'm really wondering what our midfield's gonna look like.

I definitely don't want to see Naka starting as he doesn't fit into Auld firm matches.. Robson I think is the only man left who can play on the right side, but that leaves little attacking options in the centre. I'd like to see Hartley and Sno play, but that's only if Hartley can still play as an attacking middie like he used to with Hertz. I know that many of you dislike Sno, but would you rather have Donati instead?

Totally undecided on who I would have in the midfield ! The only player that has stood out for me has been mcgeady and he's a definate. I would go with hartley in there as he as a bit of fight in him. As for the other two places ???

Its about time naka put in a performance against the huns. I wouldnt actually have a problem with donati. Maybe him and hartley in the middle

Mcgeady might play right side... He scored a beauty cutting in from the right against Aberdeen a month or so ago.. Really depends what Strachan's plans are.. If he's looking to attack the huns at every opportunity then it might be better to have Hinkel and Mcgeady on the same side.. Papac is a relatively weak link , Broadfoot or Whittaker on the other side likewise.. We just have to trust wee ginger to get it right on the day..

    I'd rather neither for Ibrox..

Guarantee if either of them play they will get dragged back into our own half and become liabilities..

If Strachan plays Mcgeady-Hartley-Brown and Robson and we don't get a grip in midfield then I'll not be shouting for changes to the team anymore..

They didn't last time they played at Ibrox.. I'd rather Naka is on the bench.. Donati can go and play golf next Saturday..

I'm not too sure about midfield either but I think I would go with the following...

    McGeady - Hartley - Brown - Nakamura

I wouldnt play brown. For me he was absolute rubbish today and think he will be a liabilty at ibrox. Wouldnt be surprised to see him lose the rag if things arent going celtics way and end up getting himself sent off !!

forget brown for starters , rarely gets a touch and mostly fouls

they * will play 4-5-1 so we need to arrange and counter for that as we seem to have an unsettled team

    Id go

    boruc

    hinkel pressley mcmanus naylor

    mcgeady donati hartley robson

    samaras mcdonald

True, I never even thaught about that.

hmmm, its a difficult one, if we win at Ibrox GS has definetly earned his weeks wages :icon_mrgreen:

    McGeady - Robson - Heartly - Nakamura

I'm also wondering about Naka, he's always a passenger in our big away games...

Not 100% about Samaras but I'm sure I also heard he is away with Greece.

Australia are playing in China so its only a 16 hour flight for him.... lol.

I was impressed with Samaras today when he came on but he seems to do much better when he comes on as a sub rather than starting a game...
