Amazing atmosphere in 111 last night, pity the result was so poor. Samaras can get into the positions but can't finish and Skippy can't get into positions but scores more, not a really good combination.

 

Do you seriously think that we're going to sign Robbie Keane? I don't.

What under 21 Dutch striker? I haven't heard anything about him.

I can't believe that you think that we'll be able to get rid of three strikers and also bring in three strikers in one transfer window. You can't just say that 'money must be there' because the press are linking us to players. That's like saying we had £15million to spend on Pavluchenko because the papers were reporting that we were going for him.
Mowbray will hopefully get to spend but do seriously think the board will finance three new strikers when we know that Mowbray will be looking to bring in a new defender too?

We might not be happy about it but like it or not we are stuck with what we have until january.
Having said that TM has to recognise that having Samaras continully drift out to the wing positions to receive the ball is totally non productive.
I'm sick to death watching Samaras looking up to cross a ball into the box, when he is the person who should be in the box to get on the end of same.
Last night was the first time that he played as traditional CFand he done exceptionally well winning the ball and creating space for himself. I know his finishing was horrific, but I take that as aberration on the night in question and unlikely to happen again to such a degree.
As i said earlier he is our main hope at the moment and TM has to recognise where he's most effective, and it's not out on the wings.

 

I'm confused, one minute Samaras is public enemy number one (on here anyway) and now all of a sudden hes our saviour striker yet not been scoring any goals.

Im not aganst him i thought he played pretty well and on another day couldve got a hat-trick, point is people on here are just using individual players as scapegoats when the whole team should be hounded!

P.S is it just me or did TM looks as if he didnt give a * about Celtic being one nil down to Hearts at home! He thinks the fact that were creating enough but not scoring is allowed, when its clearly not!

 

If he didnt give a *, why were Samara & McDonald on straight away?
