Well there's another trophy for the huns to add to their collection, we could still be playing now and we still wouldn't have scored.
Zaluska:4 if he can't save that pen. he won't save any.
Hinkel:6 got forward and into good positions many times but final ball just not good enough.
    Caldwell:5
McManus:1 what a pair of donkeys! they're either miles apart or bumping into each other going for the same ball, utterly useless.
Fox:5 should have know better than to make a tackle like that in the box.
McGeady:2 waste of time, created virtually nothing. If you have no end product as a winger then all you are doing is running around with a ball at your feet.
    Crosas:5
Nguemo:6 work rate good but still gives away too many passes.
Maloney:3 doesn't deserve to be a regular starter IMO.
Zheng Zhi:5 some nice touches but none that really made a difference.
Killen:4 the fact he's even playing shows how low we've sunk.

McCourt:6 needs to play behind the forwards IMO, hasn't got the pace to go down the line and its easier for the opposition to close him down out there.
McDonald:2 did * all, the guy's like a statue at times.
Samaras:2 missed an easy a header as you're likely to get, doesn't deserve to pick up his wages after the chances he fluffed.

    so whats the fuss?

we lost to hearts in the league cup!! so * what who cares? we are top of the league,we are still in europe(for now)and we are going for the scottish cup too! a lot to play for still so im not panicking.

however mcmanus is a * embarresment to celtic fc doing a tackle like that last night tbh? i cringed when he did it too! terrible he could have gave driver a sore one for his troubles. samaras *! how the * did he not score a hattrick?

heads up anyway im not down beat about being knocked out of the cis cup for gods sake!. as long as we have the league flag ? thats all that matters.

how the *, does Crosas get five, he is a lightweight, pass the buck average midfielder, he was * invisible last night, a few nice passes here and there and fans love him, he has no penetration, no strength, rarely shoots, all he does is pass the ball side ways, why are fans so pro crosas, he is poor, and when he plays v the huns, they will rip our midfield to *, i am telling you!!!!!!:38:

How you can rate N'Guemo 6, Killen 4 while rating Samaras with 2 is beyond me. Samaras should have done better with his chances but he played a lot better than Killen did.

i agree, i think sammy busts a gut and was genuinlly unlucky, but the fans take it out on him, i like sammy, i know he missed a few, but in 90 mins he would have scored, so leave him alone!

sorry man but i dont share your enthusiasm over samy tbh! last night he should have scored a hat trick! the chances were there . i think the quicker we punt him the better tbh.

He's been playing better than McDonald and Killen recently so I think selling him would just increase the problems we're currently having.

In all fairness bud, i think there is a lot more players to be shown the door first before samaras. At least 3/4 players in our team would struggle to hold down a place at hearts, hibs & rangers.

On another night Samaras would have had a hat-trick ,he at least got into positions to score but it didnt happen for him ,but he is the only one of the CF who is making these runs to take up positions .

I disagee Alsy mate, Sammy should have scored at least one if not all of the chances he had, but at least he had the chances, what did Killen or McDonald contribute - absolutely nothing, both were a lot worse than Samaras was last night.

thats fair enough rab mate! but this is a results buisness! so if he isnt sinking them in while being in those positions ? then this is one of the reasons we have mogga getting the wrath from some of the support? we need sammy to knock them in! but he aint ! so why keep him then??

i wish to * he would but it isnt happening as you say! but this is becoming more and more common just now.

So would you say that Killen and McDonald are playing better than Samaras?

it actually isnt, id have Samaras in my team ahead of McDonald and Killen any day.

getting rid of Samaras would leave us * unless we brought in 2 strikers before or after he left.

we are * with them playing just now mate lol:icon_mrgreen:

none of our strikers are doing it just now minty! this is the reason why we are not scoreing and therefore have only won 2 games at home! id be happy to punt the 3 of them and get in new strikers tbh!

There's no disagreement here Alsy but i look at the other CFs and dont see anything from them to say that he is gonnae score ,Samaras is the only one who i see is the one CF who can score a goal ,there all off form and that is bad its down to confidence and pressure from the support ,it isnt a good atmosphere to play in at the moment but if he scores one he will get more ,McDonald has really surprised me this season by his lack of goals and his positional play ,he is normally the one to be in the position that Sammy is taking up but he is posted missing ,put it this way ,it can only get better on the scoring front ,surely .:50:

Can’t remember a thing that McGeady done in the 1st half either apart from run into Lee Wallace all the time….. Let's face it, the whole team played poorly as a whole in the 1st half!

We don't have the money to bring three new strikers in. That would only create more problems in my opinion. I think that Samaras is playing well bar his finishing, which is obviously an important part that he needs to improve.
