No we didn't miss Scott Brown, he's been useless all season and needs to recover from his injury if he's to have any chance of making an impact with us.

Totally agree buddy, glad to have an 'outsiders' perspective and one of which I share wholeheartedly. the spine of the team as a mentioned previously is so poor its unbelievable tbh.

Lack of end product, lack of guts, lack of motivation and desire, lack of quality to overcome worse teams than ourselves and lack of proper signings.

Lack of quality in almost every position, no real system or cohesion on the park, toothless and generally poor in the final third.

Sums us up at the moment.

Im not calling for Moggas head yet though.

Backbone of the team is poor.

We dont have a leader at CB, none of our CM's are performing and our blue chip striker signed in the summer has been injured for weeks. The replacements in Killen and Samaras have both been rank rotten, i still think Skippy could get 20+ goals this season with the right partner.

I look forward to Fortune coming back as he leads the line well and I would also like to see Loovens reinstated (he obviously will be automatically now after 'Captain' Micks sunday league tackle tonight).

Lack of leadership in the team, strikers that can't score, no backbone to the team, lack of motivation, poor tactics, defenders that can't defend.......

    take your pick :54:

To be fair it was more a 4-4-1-1 to start with which isn't exactly a 4-5-1 :52:

Main problem tonight was starting Killen up front. Samaras actually played well, there were 2 one on ones I would've expected him to score (did the ref give a free kick for one of them? He didn't finish anyway), the header was quite tough considering the pace on the ball, and the chip that hit the post he basically done everything right and was unlucky.

McDonald offered very little, but still a LOT more than Killen. McGeady was * and for some bizarre reason can't shoot when playing on the right. I wonder if the oft-ridiculed tactic of Strachans of McGeady on the left was a better idea than anyone thinks ;)

Crosas had a quiet game and just about gets a pass for me. His passing COULD be more direct though. Fox had a horrible game and you could tell he was just back from a virus or whatever. Caldwell and Mick up to their old tricks although to be fair played generally solid - an embarassing red card highlighting just how stupid Mick is.

McCourt for me proved what I already know - flashes of match-winning, but can't last the duration. He was puffing out his * after 10 minutes although it was almost worth it for the 2 great chances he single-handedly created. SHOULD'VE squared to Skippy. For me he is a classic impact 65-70 min man.

N'Guemo is an enigma. Take away the loose passes and he is simply outstanding. But you can't have a midfielder giving the ball away so needlessly so his rating drops to around a 4 or 5.

Hinkel - what can I say - played better as a winger than McGeady yet was the full-back. Better crosses, better dribbling, better engine. There was a thread not too long ago slagging Hinkel, well the last few games hes played has * all over that idiocy.

I think the solution is a mix of this game and Hamilton - Samaras / Zhi combo. Robson/N'Guemo, and McGinn surely to be snapping at the heels of McGeady.
