sorry for not being all doom and gloom, but I thought we were unlucky tonight, and looked at times like we were beginning to play football, on another night we would have won by a good margin and I am feeling optimistic about the future.

    (- Mcmanus's tackle of course)

Mowbray will win us * all i am telling you, part one of my prediction has come true, out of one cup, now wait for the next two instalments, and as for Fox and CROSAS??? why the * do fans think he is good, i dont get it, fox is an average 1st division player, and crosas is a powderpuff lightweight, i have said this over and over, for * sake what is going on:38:

as i have already said judge a manager on his own team. its unlucky as the players there arent the kind of players that fit into the way he wants to play. i agree that he should be winning the majority of games were messing up but tbh in the last few weeks wgs is being made out to be some sort of *.

strachans 1st year it didnt realy click until november with the back to back wins against rangers. by that time wed already drawn to motherwell, hearts, lost 5-0 to bratislava and been beaten 3-1 at ibrox.

even last year we had lost 4-2 to rangers at home, drew 0-0 with aalborg, been beaten 2-1 by aalborg, lost 4-2 to aberdeen.

so anybody who feels we were world beaters under wgs need to realise it wasnt always perfect.

The use of systems to make up for an unavoidable lower standard of player is pretty well a must for us in this market. Dont knock it though Greece won the European Champioinships that way. If Mowbray doesnt recognise this we will be sunk.

Just finding it hard to pick the scraps out of that at the moment.

We just cant score goals at the moment, killen did himself no favours and Samaras is just a * idiot.

Crosas didnt take his chance in the middle either, he was rotten.

On the fence here but certainly our CBs and Forwards are nowhere to be found at the moment. Mogga should focus on replacing/motivating them instead of buying another 42 midfielders that we don't need.

Absolutely disgusting. One up front is never acceptable. Why the f### do we wait until the last minute before applying pressure, we used to do this in the first min, remember the much feared out of the traps attitude. Totally gone.
This team has regressed since last year. IMO the board must take the fall, its back. To the Kelly days, spending as little as possible.
    I'm absolute disgusted.
Also, Mick must be stripped o the captaincy now, thar is the actions of a Hun, not a Celtic captain.

It was just a pity the specky clark Kent lookalike in the studio is not in our dugout. I know he hasnt won much but I think he has something special about him. A hard headed realistic guy. More like Wattie than Tony.,

Once again we fail to take the chances we create. And at the other end give away a goal through a bit of kamikaze play.

If Lee Naylor had played that same sloppy pass Fox played and then lunged into a tackle in the box giving away a penalty the way Fox did he would have been slaughtered for it. Bad play by Fox.

Georgios Samaras just looks like a clown sometimes. No.....sorry....make that most of the time. Get him out in January, he's just not got it. It was genuinely pathetically poor to watch him miss the chances he missed tonight. He's almost as bad at the moment as he was in the second half of last season. I didn't think he could be that bad again but he actually is.

so how many transfer window do we have to wait till hes got his own team? wgs took over a rundown martin o'neil squad and got on with the job, maby it wasn't pretty but 3 league titles and 2 last 16 in cl,seems to me tm always uses this "its not my players card"he must have knew he was taking on a big job.it doesn't help with the constant slating of the players all the time.

There is a difference between deserving a win and getting a win.

Same old story again. Missing the clear cut chances we create and throwing the game away with a bit of kamikaze play at the back.

If Lee Naylor had played that pass Fox played then made the tackle Fox made then he would have been slaughtered for that. Bad play by Fox there.

Terrible result once again, and once again we're saying "what if" one of those chances went in. What if is not acceptable, we have to start converting the chances we create.

Playing 4-5-1 with Killen up front was a terrible decision imo, he's just not that good.

The McManus tackle was cynical and he deserved the red, the Fox incident was a penalty.

McDonald did nothing when he came on yet Samaras takes most of the criticsim.

McGeady was useless in the first half, but improved in the second.

Both McManus and Caldwell looked shaky again.

Wasn't that impressed by either N'Gumeo or Crosas in midfield.

Mowbray needs to get more out of this team than he is currently getting, he needs to get his tactics sorted so as to cover for our obvious deficiencies.

For all calling for TM's head - who would you bring in part of the way through the season, who would want a job where the manager is only given a few months? Both of our previous managers also had terrible cup results.

Mowbray needs to improve, but he needs to be given the opportunity to improve, our squad is poor but should still be doing better than what they are currently doing.
