Official Hibs v Celtic Match Thread.

this is the one game that we must win. I can see us both dropping points on the last day but this weekends are/were must wins for us and Rangers

 

we need to come flying out the traps and if we get 1 go straight for the kill and try to eradicate daft mistakes hibs have some good players and boruc is always mince at easter road

We will win, already lost this season there so i cant see it heppening twice.
just hope wgs does not do anything stupid such as puting naylor as our striker

 

We went there last season and got a win when we needed it...I think it'll be the same tomorrow, same result...0-2 Bhoys.

We need to attack in this game so I am sticking by Naylor rather than OD. The only decision was whether to play Sammy or Maloney but we need Sammys height and he played well last week till he tired

As long as we win tomorrow I expect us to seal 4 in a row, don't see goal difference coming into it now.

 

Ive got a funny feeling the hearts game might be the more tricky of the 2. It would be nice to get a couple of nice comfortable wins like the good old days.

 

3-1 to us. 2-0 up and lose the goal that makes us nervy. Then we get one.

the fact aberdeen can pip utd for europe means utd will give the huns a * of a game.i think well beat hibs in a tense game 2-0 and the hearts game will another tense affair but i really think when we need to win bcoz a slip up is fatal we do it.it wouldnt be celtic if they didnt make us * ourselves.hail hail

 

hibs will have bamba and jones at centre back and they are both pretty slow but pretty tough lads. i remember they were the cb pairing when we beat them 4-2 at cp and sheridan gave them both a good game so i would probobaly go against my normal judgement and say play sammy up top for his movement.

 

strachan better * sort out defending at freekicks with jone sin their team

 

Loovens will be absolutely vital for us tomorro.

 

any kind of win does us, hibs can cause us problems if we let them come at us so our game plan has to be get at them and keep them on the back foot. i also think we look better in defence with loovens and caldwell rather than captain calamity. i would be tempted to play mcgeady just off mcdonald and maloney on the left just because jvoh is unlikely to win anything against jones

 

I think really it all rests on Scott Brown and whoever in CM with him tomorrow as i think Hibs are very weak there...think someone said Bamba will play CB and he is quite good in CM so they might have to play Chisholm and Thicot in there.Broony could really get stuck into them and run at them all day.
