i could honestly see strachan keeping mcgeady on the bench again, just to prove a point, going by how stubborn he is.

whatever it is, its not as many as we've gained with him in the team. wasn't his best game ever on saturday but having brown back will help him, hartleys used to being the holding mf now. he had a better game than crosas anyway

    100% agree.

If he did play McGeady, it would show that he is admitting he was wrong.

    Quote :

    WGS

"There's nothing I'd do differently if I had to play the Old Firm match over again."

"I don't need to answer any more questions about team selection. The match is over and finished with"

    ______________________________________________________________

The quotes from above gives the indication that Maloney will start tonight as anything else would be a contradiction to his opinion.

Only an idiot would make that same mistake twice. Can anyone argue the fact that using a player that hasn't started a game of first team football since the 13th of December should get first priority on a position that has been strongly led by another good player in that time.

Can anyone argue the fact that it should be done again tonight knowing we are on last chance saloon for CL football next year. The chances of Beating Arsenal or Chelsea as it stands ( or quality there of) to Qualify would be more impossible than us winning the league this year. One mans decision tonight could * the f**k right out of a couple of 100,000 supporters. that alone will be sackable if he goes ahead and it does not come off.

So if McGeady and Samaras are starting (per the Evening Times) then Maloney and Jan should drop to the bench, Brown will come in for either Hartley or Crosas and possibly Naylor in for O'Dea so maybe 4 changes from the team on Sat.

Incase it does come down to goal difference I'd like to see us win by at least a couple of goals but at this stage the 3 points are all that matters - don't care if we win because the ball is deflected in of Zaluska's * as long as we win :celt_2: I'm pretty nervous about this game - watching Celtic is not good for your health.

Jcwelsh i hear what your saying but this is dundee utd at home not rangers away buddy, i was puzzled as to why he left mcgeady out at the weekend, i doubt there is any vendetta against the lad, whoever he plays tonight it will be to beat the tangerines not the scum. GS has to commit to his decisions as a manager & can't be double guessing himself all the time, sometimes it works(like the cis cup final) & sometimes it doesn't(at the weekend). I'm sure he wants to win the games & doesn't just make these decisions to twist our mellon man!!

We've got to try and win this by more than just the one goal; if Huns draw one of their last 3 matches then this could well go down to goal difference, and we're only 1 better than them at the moment.

you could right. I would like to think you are but I have to admit that i'm going through a bad spell at the moment. It is not like me to put the head down after the Naylor - O'Dea switch and just except that we are going to get beat today. The plane is reaching its destination and the wrong man is trying to land it. I can only sit in my seat and hope when it comes to a stop, I am still smiling.

Aye. I noticed though that we've scored 78 or something and they've scored 71. So if our goal differences are tied then we'll win the league on that basis.

C'MON THE CELTS TONIGHT, and mon the hibbees tomorrow
