I'm an AIK supporter and I can guarantee that your purchase of Jos will bring something positive to your club. If not on the pitch then at least behind the scenes. Jos is an amazing person who's made a big impact on AIK after only one season at the club. He's the kind of guy who lifts the spirit of a team and infuses a good atmosphere.
I am also confident that he will produce good football as well. He is a playing centre back with a good left foot who always remains calm in tight situations.
I would not compare him to Johan Mjällby regarding their style of playing but their leadership skills and attitudes are the same. Mjällby praised Hooiveld during the Swedish season for his contribution to AIK.

I've read that some of you are concerned about Jos ability to play under pressure in a big club like Celtic. The Swedish league is not the best in Europe but AIK is by far the biggest club in the country and ís also infamous for its demanding supporters. Former Liverpool player and AIK manager Richard Money said this: "The AIK supporters are, for good and for bad, the most passionate group of people I've ever met and I have played for Liverpool".
Also, Dusan Uhrin who coached the Czech national team when they finished runners-up in Euro 96 briefly managed AIK in 2002. He got burned out and quit due to the pressure from the media and the fans.
So, in conclusion; Jos won't have a problem with the pressure of being at a big club.

All in all you're getting a very good player and a fantastic person. Congratulations.

Not sure if the stadard is high enough to mean much. Remember was Caldwell is POTY in a club who played in the CL and is Scotland captain. Wee countries mean big fish in wee ponds. On a more positive note, the Swedes and Finns (judging by international teams) are a lot bigger than the sort of runty selection of Scots who play football (why is that BTW- Scottish players often seem to be a good bit smaller than the average height in Scotland??). So that probably means Jos is great in the air.

when asked if winning the title was vital big jos replies:
