an inter supporter summed it up this morning when he approached us in the main station and said " you were * robbed last night"..2 stonewall penalties,,,the ref was a total *..

and this talk about not going to milan without a ticket and scaremongering tactics by the italian autorities and sections of the media in scotland must feel totally inept this morning when every celt who went without a ticket got in the official celtic end without any hastle..(well searching 6 banks around milan all afternoon was no fun)..

great night all round....we did ourselves proud.

We were not even close to winning that game, get your hed out your *.

Im fed up hearing that Hard-luck story bullsh1t,Milan scored 2 minutes into Extra-time and we didn't make one clear-cut chance against them.Thats how close we were.

    Still fvckin brilliant trip.

You should never feel happy with losing, doesn't matter what way you go we got beat.Winning is everything,we just gave what everyone suspected

Inzaghi never has a good game and at 34, he shouldn't be even playing.

Artur Boruc Consistently took the pressure off his callow defence by claiming crosses. Stunning blocks from Maldini and Seedorf and tipped a Pirlo shot wide. Might attract a little interest now 7

Paul Telfer Milan exploited his isolation with passes regularly plopped in behind him, but retained his composure and attempted to advance. Yet some Celtic fans will still gripe about him 7

Stephen Mcmanus Seemed to be toiling with his injury at times but concentrated well and kept it simple: tackling, blocking and never giving the strikers peace 6

Darren O'Dea Composed and efficient, the Irishman grew in stature as the minutes passed. Eager to pick a pass but knows when to put his foot through it 6

Lee Naylor Did not get forward as much as he might have liked but did his defensive job superbly. Nipped one ball off Inzaghi's toe and tucked in to great effect 7

Shunsuke Nakamura Sucked inside, he left Telfer vulnerable but his clever little passes continued to cleave open avenues. Dead-ball execution was disappointing 6

Evander Sno Did his chores but was never able to conjure a final ball. Held his own and confirmed position as Lennon's natural heir 6

Neil Lennon Pace and elusive nature of the Rossoneri perturbed him at times but remained tidy 6

Jiri Jarosik A robust, awkward presence on the left, he caused Oddo exasperation. Effort blocked by Maldini's arm but delicate footwork often threatened to open the game up. Surprisingly substituted 7

Aiden McGeady Employed in the hole, he found pockets of space as the game progressed. Thrived in the high stakes, but was just unable to supply a little more productivity. Still, outshone Nakamura and was his side's best performer 7

Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink Toiled tirelessly but looked some way short of full capacity. Close to submitting a personal ad to combat loneliness at one stage 6

    SUBSTITUTES
Thomas Gravesen Replaced Jarosik after an hour and juggled his way into a shot. Infuriatingly louche, he could be playing fives at times 5

Craig Beattie Given 23 minutes when he replaced Sno, he skidded a header over 4

Kenny Miller Thrown on for Nakamura with the tie slipping away. Could not impact 3

The Herald's Richard Winton There ye are davie a load of bollocks if ye ask me but fill yer boots.I'd agree wi about 2 of these i'd say
