Gravesen should have been on for sno at the start and jarocik played his best match all season, he should have stayed on!

    Not enough quality from us

Face it people. We just aint good enough and wont be until we get someone up front who is quick AND can score goals. His name is not Kenny Miller!
As much as I LOVE Lenny, this MUST be his last season. He cant cut it in the SPL nevermind the CL.
Naka and Sno=two of my favourite players.Naka doesnt do enough at this level and Sno needs to learn to hold onto the ball.NOW!
Lee Naylor.Had major doubts at first, like most.Tonight confirmed that this guy is a great little player and is not out of his depth at this level. If he continues like this,we will be getting offers from the EPL.
Tommy G-top man.Not at his best since he joined us but,my * the man has got some guts and I can plainly see, he is a top player.Roll on the huns.Tommy G will eat em for breakfast!
Pretty much knee * reactions from me after a dissapointing night but we have all been here before and although the lads did great, I am fed up with our team promising so much but not delivering.I really do beleive that Milan were there for the taking tonight and althouh they are quality, we have some great players in our team too. Maybe Pressley and Hartley could have made the difference?
    Im drunk.Goodnight.Hail Hail!:celt_2:

We play agressive in the first part, but I not changed Jarosik for Gravesen(It´s bad here and in Real Madrid)and I will put Miller for Sno to improve the forward

Agree re: Naylor. Good left backs are rare and Naylor is superb. * knows what he would be worth if EPL clubs tried to get him. Reckon he will get a full England cap very soon. There are very few left backs I would swap him for. I dont want to sell any of them but I think WGS got Boruc, Naka and Naylor for less than 5 million total but they are worth more than that each now. Thats the sort of trading that not only brings good players in but guarantees our financial well being.

It would be churlish and unkind to criticize Celtic for what was probably one of their best performances ever in Europe.

We were eventually undone by a brilliant piece of magic by an outstanding and world class player Kaka

On top of all that. the referee was a homer, who denied us two stonewall penalties..

I think tonight we are being bit unfair on Nakamura. Milan knew who our dangerman was and gave him the respect he was due by putting two men on him at all times. This should have allowed McGeady and Sno more space but we failed to capitalise. Credit where it is due, Naka never tried to hide he was just outmarked by the best defenders in the world.

    Good morning Bhoys & Ghirls

After a short night, the emotions are slowly cooling down ;-)

It was a great night yesterday! The players made us proud to be Celtic-Fans!
    Well done Bhoys! :50:

To the ref just this: Look up for another hobby - please! The game was easy to whistle - no bad fouls, etc. unbelievable that he and his assistants did not see the irregularities!
    :78:

Celtic starts very strong in the first half. But over the hole game - they made too much mistakes particulary in the midfield.

The 1 : 0 was firstly the mistake of Sno - and in the end it was just our bad luck!

I'm gonna looking forward now! They will beat the huns on sunday and will bring us back the smile on our faces!

    PROUD TO BE A BHOY!

The ref was just shocking in this game. Making bad decisions for both teams, you should of had 1 pen, the second one, i think Naka was looking for it.

You fought extremely well, and in the end was beaten, by quite possibly the best player in the world. There was certainly parts in the game were i thought you might win it but Dida was never really challenged. Boruc had a great game, despite being megged.

You were beaten technically, but made up for it with heart. But heart alone can't win you football matches. As i expected though, JVOH would be quite throughout the whole game, and i expected more from Naka.
Better luck nex time though, now wouldn't this be awesome if come late may, you can say you held the champions to ET. Ah but we won't win it.

Anyway, thanks for having me here.

Very proud of the performance given by the bhoys last night. WGS got his tactics spot on (though, I questioined the inclusion of JJ at kick-off) and there was some herculean performances: Boruc, Naylor, O'Dea, Vennegoor of Hesselink etc. Gutted about the two penalties we could've had tough.

    Mixed emotions really..... :54: :84: :37: :50:

I've really never been prouder of the bhoys! Last night was a carbon copy of Barcelona 2004, only this time we didn't have that goal to defend. I think we lost this tie when we couldn't beat them at CP. Otherwhise it was all identical with the Barcelona ties. Big Artie went into my legends book tonight, a true hero and one of the best in the world without a doubt. Every one of the lads who went down fighting last night should get a medal, I'm ever so prud of them. HAIL HAIL and let's kick some Hun *!

Not gonna say too much just very proud,of the players.the supporters
everything.Mate texted me and said all the Milan stewards and fans stayed behind to clap our supporters as they left the stadium.
Wouldn't criticise one player for last nights performance and those master tacticians that are having a go at Tommy,JJ and McGeady are just having a go at a couple of easy targets.Everyone gave 100% ye can't ask for more than that.
Mick,Weasel and O'Dea all credit to ye just magnificent performances,
and the black armbands were a fantastic gesture, not too sure too many others clubs wou;ld have concerned themselves with worrying wi such a thing.
Emotionally drained, devestated and hungover and proud as *

cant argue with that m8, spot on, we are a bawhair away from a last 8 team. just need the spark of a larsson, because after JVOH we dont really have anyone who is top drawer, apart from miller on a good night.

but for now the young bhoys have learnt alot and will gain confidence from the fact they went toe to toe with a team who have been there and done it.

the way i see it, our progression from when John Barnes left has been fantastic, lets hope it continues.

if we got a goal at home. Which we didnt we would have held milan to 0-0 draw in San Siro. Which was brilliant.

I blame the lineup that day and the biggest misser of all Kenny Miller for the draw at parkhead which cost us advancing.

I know Im going to have kenny miller supporters telling me "oh but he is a great player and not his fault."

He had chances in that game and didnt capitalize at all.

Face the facts we need a dominate striker at celtic for us to succeed any further in Europe.

To the people who laughed when i said Naka was a bottler, told you so, honestly i expected a better peformance from him, i was scared for Milan everytime you got a free kick at CP, this time he was very average. Celtic need another creative midfielder to bring more chances to the forwards + a new striker to go with JVOH
Naka only had Jankulovski on him, and he's more a LM.
The first pen was difficult for the ref due to where it was and what he could see, and the second one, there was light contact on Naka.
You all forgot to mention how we got a free kick that should of been a pen. And got a free kick when Inzaghi was free + onside. You should look at both sides before saying he was "payed off".

Quite often Naka was doubled up on,it is quite clear ye identified him as a threat and treated him as such.He did not have his best game thats true but he has been playing wi an injury for most of this season and has not had a rest but he doesn't need me to make excuses for him.Using your logic did Inzaghi bottle it too because he didn't turn up in fact apart from Kaka i can't think of a Milan player who did look all that good. It does not matter what position Jankulovski is either he was man marking Naka and stuck tight to him, which is mebbe what we should have done with Kaka.

Regarding the 1st peno agree about the ref, there are linesmen tho.2nd peno well you don't get those at the San Siro.I thought the ref was right about the initial offence being outside the area for your "penalty" and i don't remember the Inzaghi incident but tbh i don't care as he dived on 2 occasions and did get the frees, always has been a cheat Inzaghi and always will.
In saying all that tho i hope ye go on and win it,well i hope anyone wins it except an English club but all the best
