sorry but Parks is in no way a great player. kicks possession away far too much. decision making is * poor at times. i mean Godman kept him out the team for a bit ffs

never in doubt to be honest.

Toby has a Welsh accent and was brought up in Wales from 6 years old.

    So incomparable.

Anyway...your right though, i dont agree with residency rules in rugby. 3 years and you qualify. Chris Horsman was an englishman playing for an english club in the borderlands (Gloucester) but lived in Wales....he thus got capped. ridiclous.

Better team won on the day so well done Wales. Hope they go on to win the triple crown. Can't see past France to win the Grand Slam but we shall see.

the wooden spoon is coming home back to scotland boys.

cant score tries for the life of us (and when we do some wee Gaul decides he's seen a knock on that never happened). But more important than that we give the ball away far too much. you can win without crossing the line but you'll never win a game without the ball.

plus, Italy look like they have improved and moved up a notch since the previous campaign, and not for the first time. Straight battle between us and Italy in the wooden spoon game and i think we'll be the ones claiming the booby prize.

Best of luck to Wales, really hope they get the Triple Crown now but I can see France getting the Grand Slam

Scotland seriously need to get more grassroots rugby played and a third professional team would not go astray either. Until this is sorted out the national team will always continue to struggle.

Listening to the Italy game yesterday on the way home they seem far more of an attacking threat and with the tie between the two countries set to be played in Rome spells trouble for the Scots.

    Was Scotland, now Canada
A third professional side isn’t going to work at the moment. It’s not sustainable and they wouldn’t be guaranteed to be playing in the pro12. The SRU are taking positive steps with Glasgow signing Rory Lamont and bringing Sean back next year. They’ve finally loosened the purse strings. We have a load of young exciting players coming through Weir, Hogg, Harley, Wilson, Fusaro at Glasgow, Scott, Denton, Gilchrist, Jones, Visser at Edinburgh. The future actually looks bright for Scottish rugby for the first time in ages. We’re not quite there yet and a lot of the blame must lay on Townsend, who had the audacity to say that you don’t need tries to win games. That’s not the attitude that an attack coach should have. The summer tour and autumn internationals will be the time to blood the rest of the youngsters and hopefully Scott Johnson can help with the selection, since it seems to by Robbo’s weakness. I can see the Scottish backline for the 2013 6N being

    15 Hogg
    14 Jones
    13 Ansbro
    12 Scott
    11 Visser
    10 Laidlaw
    9 Blair

That’s the sort of backline I want to see. This 6N just came a bit too early for Scotland.

An English schoolteacher explains to her class that she is an England rugby fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they, too, are England rugby fans. Everyone in the class raises their hand expect one little girl. The teacher looks at the girl with surprise and says, "Mary, why didn't you raise your hand?" "Because I'm not an England rugby fan," she replied. The teacher, still shocked,...... asked, "Well, if you are not an England rugby fan, then who are you a fan of?" "I am a Welsh Rugby fan, and proud of it!" Mary replied. The teacher could not believe her ears. "Mary, why are you a Welsh Rugby fan?" "Because my mam is a Welsh Rugby fan, and my dad is a Welsh Rugby fan, so I'm a Welsh Rugby fan too!" "Well," said the teacher in an obviously annoyed tone, "That is no reason for you to be a Welsh Rugby fan. You don't have to be just like your parents all of the time. What if your mam were a moron and your dad were a moron, what would you be then?" "Then," Mary smiled, "I'd be an England rugby fan

Would have been better for Ireland if England won.
