Anyone saying no to a 26 year old Edouard returning is brain dead. 3 years Prem experience, more mature, scored at a decent rate with limited minutes in a lot of games. * me he’d be unbelievable.

If there's any chance of it we need to try.

If we are going to push the boat out for Édouard for the quoted fee then we won't be getting Idah as well and I'd be shocked if BR isn't insisting we bring Idah in on a permanent.

Can't see this happening & that's before you even get to the significant drop in wages he would need to accept.

It's the silly season and every rumour is going to creep out of the woodwork and every tenative rumour is the hot topic. Simply, there isn't a hope of this happening.

Even if we could agree the fee that his current club are supposedly seeking, the wages for the player himself would be seriously prohibitive for the budget that the club is operating on. That's the simple reality.

Whether Celtic are legit linked to a player or not, it's well known that agents and clubs will use Celtic's name in the market in order to bargain elsewhere more than the club is ever actually genuinely linked.

Would love to have him back but I don't think it's realistic at all.

Even though his time at Palace hasn't been that good I bet he still leaves for more money than they paid.

His salary will also be too high for us.

Not realistic in the slightest, but if there was a sniff of it happening we’d be mental to not be all over it.

He faked an injury for an important qualifier. You get any more downing tools than that

    Sorry lads, I'm against it.

Not for any "downed tools" narrative.

Just for the simple fact that signing him would indicate Rodgers isnt inclined to work tactically to Kyogos strengths, and wants to shift him on.

Kyogo is a superior goal scorer imo, a much harder worker, is on a FRACTION of what Eddy would be demanding, and it would take a HUGE chunk out of our transfer "budget", which is probably already a very low number in comparison to what we have in the bank.

We need a big target man striker for options, Kyogo as our talisman, and a couple of youngins to compliment the forward line.

I find this rumor highly disappointing.

From the players that left last 5yrs. Id take him and Ajer back. Both in a decent age and both would improve us. However cannot see it happening for neither. Specially financially.

We are operating in a different bracket financially this summer , insane money incoming from all angles and a couple of very likely big sales. We will pull a couple of strokes and this is within the realms of possibility his stock has gone down . It was also absolutely bizarre for him to come to the POTY awards , this would make sense from that perspective

Imagine the options we COULD have with the outlay for a fee and his wages.

IF, and it's still a rumor mind, IF the club pulls this (off), it's once again indicative of what a * shambles our scouting and recruitment dept. is.

    "Do we know him?"

    Aye (insert name) knows him.

    "Sign him up".

Fantastic player with a poor attitude I thought. Very frustrating in his last few months at us.

Not a chance it happens but you'd have to be * mental to say not to him. His record here was brilliant.

Absolute no brainer if we could make it happen.

    Can't see it though.
