Some of the people calling Eddy every name under the sun will be the same calling for Griffiths to "prove the doubters wrong" and how he's a "40 goal season striker when fit".

Eddy * me off as much as the next Celt last season. His form was pretty disgraceful but its weird to afford other players leniency due to Lennon et al's incompetence, however with Eddy he's a moody *, snake, lazy * etc. I think these accusations have been somewhat overblown. For me, Eddy's confidence looked * shot for long periods of last season - which is the most important thing for any striker.

 

I don't blame him for wanting to leave but I do blame him for a horrendous lack of respect towards a fanbase that worshipped him.

He was an embarrassment at times, not the only one by a long shot but still an embarrassment.

Thats not what the insiders at the club said. Rodgers was very keen on Edouard but Leicester couldn't get the deal done. Leicester always had alternate players they were interested in & yes I agree with you that Daka is actually a better fit.
