Have to say, but Eddy seems to be coming onto a game. The last few games he has got into good positions and has also created some good chances for himself.
He has had half a dozen clear cut chances in the last few games.
Only thing, he seems to hit everything straight at keeper???

Wasn’t the worst today but needs to take 37 touches before he will release the ball. First touch does be class then play it but no he thinks I’ll touch it 36 more times around 3 defenders, that’ll show them

 

He's a completely different player this season. Whether that's down to motivation, confidence, injuries, corona, poor form, coaching, * team, who knows.

Either way, nowhere near the standard he set himself in the last few years. So so disappointing

 

had absolutely no link up play with the team today, wanted to do it all hismelf by running through 3 or 4 defenders, first touch was awful, he's just not here anymore, his heads away.

Forced some corners and was getting us up the pitch and winning fouls constantly for the first hour or so, had absolutely nothing in the last part of the game, nowhere near his best game and him and Griffiths barely linked up.

 

He's too soft, you need a Sutton, Hartson, Fortune, Dembele even wee McDonald against defenders at times to back in, barge, and rough up defenders in big games.

Edouard is always * it to get touched that he gives up 90% of 50/50s and clears way for defenders to win balls. Those types or a Morelos barge in, back in and give defenders a few hits and let them know if they want to win balls they're going to get clattered or fall awkwardly. He allows people to boss him too much.

Then on top of that his positioning and reactions in the box are embarrassing and he tries to beat 3 and 4 men all the time determined to score one of those Zlatan style goals which hes never came close to from about 100 attempts.

 

He will be off in the summer no two ways about it.

Wouldn't care one bit where he goes to or how much for.
