The hate he's getting is way over the top, players that have chucked it don't celebrate like he did today both for the goal and the final result, the reason he starts over other strikers is cos he's a different player to klimala 1and Griffiths and ajeti have made it to December and are nowhere near fit enough to start a game, should've scored a couple of the chances but the idea he's missing them on purpose is ludicrous.

Like every other player he's suffering under a manager that doesn't have a clue how to get the best out of them.

 

i dont understand him, his penalty was great but he still seems to show no effort till its too late.
in the first half there was two brilliant chnaces for him, a nice ball along the 6 yard line that he watched whiz bya nd a lovely back heel from Ajer right in front of him that somehow the defender got to first? but at the 90 minute he's busting a gut to stop a hearts defender from punting it long, if he does that for those two opportunities he might have had a hat trick, not to mention the two shots he had that went straight at Gordon twice.
He wants it straight to his feet in the box, he wont make that extra dash froward to go for loose balls or nice we lay offs.

Either bust a gut the entire game or * off.

 

The penalty was completely disrespectful to his teammates and the fans.

If that doesn’t go in - and all it takes is for the keeper to do NOTHING - then it becomes obvious how stupid it was to try a Panenka in such an important match.

And then to miss the chances he had from open-play... * outrageous for a player of his (so called) talent!

Drop the show-pony * and concentrate on the basics min!

 

Unfortunately the only way he is going to find his form is by keep playing, the lack of conviction is scary compared to him last few seasons. He will come good though, just needs to keep at it.

I thought that he had another poor game today. He never wins the ball in the air even though he's a big * and he always looks as though he is just going through the motions until he leaves the club. He also missed a few half decent chances which doesn't help.

 

He should have had four goals today. I didn't think his play was otherwise bad. At least he's getting into positions to score. His finishing ability will return.

It's time he was dropped for Griffith's, his application is shocking, never tried to win headers yet Griffith's who's 3ft smaller did. Incredible footballer who looks like he's not interested.
