On this Monday a lot of info, Celts at the end of the contract close to their old clubs. An important player about to extend. An exciting podcast with Odsonne who talks about the club, a game that changed everything and also Scottish dishes ... What do I start with

I’m a leader on the pitch, I’m discreet in the dressing room. We have our habits, in the team everybody knows who are the leaders in the dressing room. I show my personality on the pitch

I am more disappointed if I put on a poor individual performance than if I don't score. I prefer to perform well, not to score and help the team rather than putting on a poor individual performance and scoring a goal.

When I first arrived at Celtic it wasn’t easy, I played 3-4 games and after I wasn’t even on the bench. Moussa and Leigh scored a lot. There was competition in the team. There was a difficult period for me. I was lucky to have Kolo Toure in the staff

Kolo Touré helped me a lot, talked to me all the time. After trainings, I stayed 30-40min with him to work more. I never gave up, I stayed focused and serious. I was waiting for the manager to give me a chance to shine. The most important thing is to take your chance

The manager came to see me in the middle of a week and told me I was going to start this week-end. 2 weeks before, I played with the reserves. I was angry and disappointed. I was thinking about lots of things at this time. Why did I come? I should have stayed in Paris

I said nothing and I worked hard. I was determined, I gave everything, it’s now or never. I take this chance.

After the Motherwell game, I played more and more and I scored goals, my Celtic career really began. I improved a lot with Celtic these 3 last seasons

depends on how you look at it... after 22 they no longer play u21 international football so are seen as less of a prospect and more of the finished article

SO much has been said about Celtic’s formidable league form since the turn of the year, and rightly so. From January through March, the Hoops won nine out of 10 games – drawing 2-2 against Livingston on March 4 – to forge a 13-point gap at the top of the Premiership.

The Paradise side were of course crowned champions two months after that amid the current COVID-19 coronavirus crisis, but it was a game on the other side of the year which Odsonne Edouard considers crucial in last season’s success.

“The defeat to Rangers on December 29 was important to me and to us as a team, because we used this game to become better,” said Edouard in an exclusive interview for the Celtic View 9 in-a-row special. “After this game, after the break, we came back to training and we worked more and we worked harder.

“When we got back to playing football, we won every game, except one which we drew. I think that record speaks for itself. The goal against Rangers at Ibrox in September, though, was my favourite goal of the season.

“I didn’t plan the celebration, it just happened at the time. Every time I touched the ball, the Rangers fans… they weren’t happy about it, they weren’t happy with me. My goal was a good answer to that, and the celebration matched it. I think the Celtic fans liked it too!”

The Celtic fans were also delighted with Edouard’s contribution in front of goal over the course of the 2019/20 campaign – the French forward having hit 28 goals in 45 appearances.

And while delighted to have played his part in three of the current nine in-a-row run, the 22-year-old has nothing but respect for Scott Brown and James Forrest, both of who have featured in all nine.

He added: "To be here for all nine league titles in nine in-a-row, that’s incredible for Broony and James. They’re both very good players and they’re both leaders of the team.

"They’re good for the team, they’re good for me and it’s good to have these types of players in the changing room

They can’t of had much faith in him, you’d of thought when we signed him they’d of put a buy back on him or some sort of first choice clause

They may have, I think it's more the case that they can spend literally unlimited amounts on strikers so a youth player wasn't in their thoughts.

We paid them 9 million for a guy that never kicked a ball for them and who were scrambling for transfer fees due to FFP.

That was PSG’s priority not the potential of a raw 20 year old.

Rain top looks cool although Eddy is one of those folk who make everything look cool. Bet Broony's doesn't have removable sleeves though :giggle1:
