He’ll be fine he came back from injury into a team that was playing horrendous and barely giving him service.

He's fine. Just needs some time to get his form and confidence back. Just like some other players do.
He'll start smashing them away soon.

The lack of service isn’t helping.

Give Morgan a round of games and I think we could set a lot more chances being created. Eddie just needs to learn the knack of arriving in the box on time. Once that comes he'll be fine.

Saw enough last year to be not worried about him......it'll come!! Big price tag on this boys shoulders and he's only young!

Far from being arrogant i think he looks likes he's lacking confidence at the moment!! The opposition will feel it when it comes back.....sooner the better!!

I'm a fan of Eddy and think he's quality.
My concern is that the French lads' hearts aren't in it, with the way Dembele left and Porto's interest in Ntcham.

Great for the last few months of last season and looked to carry it on before his injury, he's a goof player mate. I worried about the price tag myself, so get that, but he's definitely a player.

We need to persevere with him, supply him and get runs around him. None of that has been happening.

With game time in the system and training, I think he goes on to be one of our best lone strikers in recent years. See a lot said about him not being a lone striker, but for me he has every quality needed to do so. Tall, quick, strong, can dribble and his hold up play can been exceptional. Once he matures into it he will be quality, only 2 years older than Jack Aitchison, has a lot of growing to do.

When was the last time he actually scored? A striker should be judged on that, Griffiths has proved he can score consistently throughout his time, but Edouard hasn't.

Players go in and out of form, are you forgetting how long it took Griffiths to score that 100th goal?

Edouard has 4 in 11 this season, Griff has 5 in 13 - Albeit with probably less minutes.

Edouard is 8 years younger, at 20 Griff was paying in the old First Division. Griff is going into his 13th pro season, Edouard into his 3rd. Edouard will become a better player than Griff.. Trust me.

Eddy has outscored Griffiths in the year of 2018. Stats are easy to twist.

At the beginning of the season there was a wankfest (justified IMO) over Eduoard.

Looked great in the early CL qualifiers.

There is a player there. He will come good. I've no doubt about it.

Missing dembele, really thought they would be great as a partnership.
Needs another striker to play off, someone good at holding the ball up.

No-one should be surprised that a young striker in a foreign country would have inconsistent form, especially when he’s playing against such defensive teams every week.

We knew what we was getting when we signed him, there are no surprises here. He will have good spells and bad spells. But overall we had seen enough to justify the price tag, that I am fine with. We just need to nurture him a little and make sure any bad form doesn't get to him. Also not to sell him too quickly (I know thats not a debate yet) and cut our losses after one season. I expect much the same this season to last...a slow start and a bang at the end, go in to next season full of confidence.

Any news on the injury? Was looking more like his old self before getting bludgeoned.
