I'm not against this boy whatsoever, all I said was that hopefully the club opens his mind a bit. He's not * guilty of anything, but after all we are a club open to all, and as he's employed by the club he has a duty to act within those values from here on out. Fair * to him if that's his view's but he certainly can't be airing them any longer as the media here will also be all over it.

 

He won't be the first person whose sick to death of some of the woke * that's spouted these days, and the fact that freedom of speech doesn't extend to having an opinion that differs from what the "woke Nazis" say.

 

See being fair that guys models seem pretty poor at judging players potential. Like it would give Van Veen a crazy price tag/value because he scored a lot of goals for Motherwell last year, well into the millions or Shankland the same.

Also if a centre back scored a few goals but is bang average at defending he would get a high value.

 

I like Joost. He's the McDonald's equivalent of stats guys if you just want a quick takeaway of player analysis but his conclusions can be miles off.

He's rating him as a DM as well, and I can see he has been playing there, but in his highlights he looks a CM, much more an 8 than a 6, nice turning on the ball and bursting forward. Of course it depends how we line up the midfield under Rodgers going forward, but I don't see him coming here as a proper DM, more box to box like Hatate or Cal before he settled in to the sitting role.

That's my one issue with Joost. He's Juco James on a bigger computer. He's strictly numbers without context. If a goalkeeper scored a fluke once from his own box he'd probably say they have high finishing probability compared to other keepers lol

Still, Odin seems to be very highly rated despite him apparently having an average season for a poor team so I imagine he's one for the near future rather than to strengthen the midfield immediately. I think he also had some big clubs sniffing about him a couple of years ago so there is clearly some genuine talent there.

That's what I really think. The world has moved on a bit since then, and there are rightfully laws against Holcaust deniers, but apart from that I think everything should be open for debate and people shouldn't be ostracised for having an opinion that goes against the flavour of the moment.

I would think so. Depending on what it is you want to say you might find people disagree with you.

But freedom of speech means just that. I don't always agree with the fact that Holocaust deniers aren't engaged in debate and exposed for what they are.

However I do understand and respect the fact that they shouldn't be given any kind of credance.

In certain company it would be. However it's not a term I would use, and I would argue with you that it's offensive and disgusting. But if that's how you wish to speak then that's up to you.

Although again things have moved on and such a comment might be seen as a hate crime.
