Armstrong was class during Rodgers first spell at picking the ball up and carrying us forward.

This lad looks a carbon copy in that sense but probably has more to his all round game.

Defo need these athletic type players for European level. Mooy, Rogic, Bitton etc could never live with the pace of games at that level.

 

Looking forward to seeing him play. Very good feeling about this guy.

This is how modern football works, scouting department identify players to suit the style of the team and recommend them to manager and he gets to decide.

Not sure he's got enough in front of goal to be a number 10.

Does Gilmour play that way outwith Scotland games ? Thought he might play with a bit more freedom in club football. It was more the way he was receiving the ball that I thought looked pretty similar in style. Boy looks a talent.

 

No 100% but whenever I've seen him he hasn't really been a box to box type..

Even if he's been played as an 8, he stays pretty central, with the odd burst forward. More of a sitter type who's good on the ball and has a good range of passing..

Holm looks much more comfortable in his clips attacking..

Liked posts hating on transgenders, liked a post that was totally insensitive towards people with body dysmorphia issues, among a load of other nonsense that shouldn’t be on a professional football players twitter.

 

Wouldnt be shocked if he's told to delete/private his twitter shortly. Agree or disagree with what he says (I strongly disagree) you'd have expectee him to be more media trainee.

 

Looks a much better player when playing as an attacking mid. Got serious Hatate vibes in the final third so probably been playing out of position this past while.
