It’s going to be a case of piecing things together for him over a period of time because he needs experience and polishing of a few things and he’ll be flying.

    I like him a lot.

Aye he's a tidy player and someone to work on with promise. But he needs to start influencing games more and setting people up.

Even by his own words after the game, he knows he needs to be more this way and getting more involved in the attacking phases.

I was surprised to see Brendan say that. I thought hes doing ok, i was thinking it might be next season before we see the best of him.

Worried though Brendan is talking about mentaility with him. He strikes me as a confident boy.

I reckon Brendan’s just saying more how apart from Calmac the other cms are probs grabbing more goal contributions etc so Odin will need to add that to displace them as a regular. Hatate when he was fit was always good for a goal or assist, O’Riley 11 goal contributions in 12 games now I think and even turnbull popping up with a few goals in his last few games. I see alot of quality in
Odin though and he provides something different so I hope he keeps getting minutes and some starts to prove he deserves it

Everytime I've seen him he's looked good (bar there's card tackle against Feyanoord) I'm gonna say it's a slow news day paper pish story

I felt he was the opposite of the rest of the team, he started slowly but built into the game and was just getting really doing before half time. Didn’t really get a chance to kick on second half as he was subbed.

Wasn’t brilliant but showed flashes of what he can bring. The main thing about him is he is different to what O’Riley and McGregor are. He has a nice turn of pace and that ability to get on the half turn and accelerate away. Hopefully he continues to get opportunities.

He's a young player. Inconsistency is to be expected.

That was his first domestic start IIRC.

Think that's the problem, he's not imposing himself on games enough. But he is still young and in his first few months with us. Hoping to see him grow in confidence and start trying to be more positive in possession.

Did he not start the loss to Killie?

I sense he's the kind of player to respond well to being challenged like this, think it's good man management from Rodgers. He obviously has more levels to go up.

Maybe. That was definitely his first league start though.

He done fine when involved just hardly touched the ball.

Think it was just how we lined up, was like

    Johnston CCV Scales
    McGregor
    Yang O'Riley Holm Taylor Palma
    Kyogo
Where Holm was like the middle of an attacking midfield 5. Yang and O'Riley and Taylor and Palma combined a lot down the sides and seen all the ball, hardly ever went into the more central area he was. Ball kept going from Johnston and Scales wide, then back around the other side via McGregor.

He did start the Kilmarnock league cup game but that was for sure his first start in the league.

I think he definitely has something about him but he will need a few games under his belt before we can really judge him. Some players need time to adjust to our league and he will soon discover that our game is a bit different from the Scandinavian one
