Odin Thiago Holm.

Oozes class. Hatate, O'Reily, Holm, McGregor are good options in there that I am confident about. Rest are very much on the fence.

 

I am really impressed with him, he seems to have that bit of steel about him, which we so badly miss in midfield, just loved that tackle he put in on show pony.
Want to see more of him.

 

That challenge on Cantwell at the end just bookended everything. Superb final piece of play to seal the game.

Very promising talent.

 

For me, it was the * take with cuntwell for a free kick.

Would love to see it again, but looks like cuntwell was trying to get the ball to force us to take the freekick quicker, Holm, after we had taken our own time about things, insisted he had the ball, chucked it to him, just for cuntwell to have to throw it back (to McGregor?), Inadvertently wasting more time

Instantly reminded me of last season and payback for the * with Hatate and the water bottle *.

Think Holms gonna be a very smart player and know how to wind them up without getting himself in to trouble.

Should be starting in front of Turnbull no doubt.

Looks good.

 

Probably still needs a bit more time settling in but I don't think it will be long until he's a regular.

If the Benfica boy is any use we might be ok in midfield too

Aye I’ve been very impressed with him so far. Comfortable on the ball and can also put himself about. Looks a really confident player as well.

 

this is good, kinda need one of Kwon or Iwata to come good as another DM and we'd be laughing.

 

Don't think We will see Kwon this season. Ange didnt fancy Iwata too much and he bought him and BR doesn't seem to fancy him much either so not sure what will happen there

Said it in the Turnbull thread, I don't think he will be here next summer so ideally I'd like to a replacement lined up for January.

 

Also a fair chance Hatate may move on next summer so some replacements in January, a bit of planning, would be ideal.

 

Yeah but replacing Hatate might be too expensive in January and might take a bit longer, different level of player.

If Hatate leaves and I think he will, we will probably wait to see how much we get. We know Turnbull is gone for nothing unless we get a fee in January.

 

They couldn't handle his energy and pace when he came on..

I love a player who can get stuck in and put a tackle in but tonights was both pish and showed studs.
