    Jota to Yang.
    Starfelt to Nawrocki/Lagerbielke
    Mooy to Holm.

Its downgrades on all those positions.

Alot of us being too harsh on the players mate.

No one can say we wouldn't have won that game with Ange in charge of the exact same side.

Rodgers is to blame and no one else. Players who performed with urgency and purpose now look ponderous and hesitant.
Even * set pieces and throw ins are taking an age.

Hopefully, it's an adaptation period. And the players are getting used to his methods. Otherwise he's in big * trouble.

The fast throwins and free kicks really caught out the other teams. Now we just take our time, let them set up. We've went down a level big time.

Too early to say on the CBs...

Holm totally different player from Mooy too.

I don't think Yang is the Jota replacement and I also think it's really harsh to say that the CBs are a downgrade from Starfelt, whom himself had a shaky start here. I think Nawrocki looks good and Lagerbielke has literally trained twice with his teammates and thrown into a cup tie away on the worst pitch in the league along with Livis.

Far too early to be saying that.

Mooy showed his class eventually but took ages to get to that point. Holm is young and a different kind of signing, wouldn't say he's a downgrade as we should be targeting another CM.to fill that Mooy gap of a more experienced head. Don't think they're like for likes

Like the rest of the signings so far we need to give them a chance.

The frustration is that we needed Hollywood signings to improve the team, that hasn't happened.

Thought for him there was some positives I caught glimpses of.

I didn't manage to catch the whole match but of what I did see, I saw him a few good times, know exactly when to get his leg in and he either dispossessed a player trying to take him on, or had a decent read of the game to intercept a few passes.

But still early days so interested to see how he goes.

The revisionism around Mooy is mental he had a good 6-8 week spell here. He took a while to get up to speed then looked really good got injured and barely looked like a footballer when he came back in took weeks to get back up to speed then got injured again. Holm has looked decent in the little we have seen of him aye he was quiet yesterday but so was everyone

They didn't just catch them out, they made the game much easier for us.

It kept the ball on the park and moving constantly and all our players were conditioned to it as we did it every single games for months and years. Opposition teams hated it as 99.99% of football teams since the sport began do the same thing at set pieces and throw ins and stuff, they all slow down, relax, switch off for 20 seconds or so and reset.

The way we always kept the ball on the park and quick, other teams didn't like to even engage us. They couldn't be arsed trying to stop us and just sat off us and let us do it.

Every time like a team got a freekick or corner against us in our half and they put it out for a goal kick it demoralised them as they all had to run up the pitch, then couldn't even relax and had to sprint back at full tilt because we took goal kicks before anycunt had a chance to blink and were now on the counter.

It ran teams into the ground and basically won games before a ball was kicked.

Now we are playing like everycunt else again.

Was surprised he got completely bombed yesterday..

He's quick and quick minded with crisp passing and an ability to go by a man. Also will go beyond the striker..

I feel like he could've done damage off the bench at least..

He starts for me next week if we don't sign a midfielder..

Spot on mate just edited that post and said same in another thread..

We need composure next week and the right balance. McGregor and Holm as a double pivot should give us that and make us a much more mobile/energetic midfield with O'Riley who's also good defensively and pressing..

Yep, agree with all this. Unfair to compare them all, and I do actually think Nawrocki will show himself to be an improvement on Starfelt.

He's a far superior footballer to Turnbull. Done more in 20 mins today than Turnbull did the whole game.

If Hatate is out, Holm MUST be starting. Surely Rodgers will see this now.
