Thought he would've been a project, one for the future etc etc, far from it the guy looks more than ready to start games.

From his YT vids in Norway I predicted that he'd walk into our first team. It's still early days but I forsee him starting many games this season, definitely looks good enough.

Would rather see him starting than Turnbull, if Hatate is out for a few games.

Got much more mobility and looks very neat on the ball.

Aye, think he'll definitely force his way into a starting berth..

Seems everything the manager would want in a CM, only thing not sure of is whether he has a goal in him.

Early days but looks like a cracking bit of scouting..

Agree with everyone above saying how good he looks..

Said in another thread how I think he'll be a regular very soon. Sometimes you can just see it, all the wee things instead of the big things like his movement, positioning, the way he receives the ball, the way he turns..

He has it all. I was mega excited by his reels and write ups and you can see why..

Agree with everyone else, I think he'll be first choice soon enough.

It's why keeping Hatate until January, at the very least, will be vitally important. Allow Holm to properly settle in the squad over the next 6 months.

He looked great in his you tube videos. So did big Samaras who largely frustrated the life outta me so best wait and see. But I thought he looked quality against Bilbao. Reckon he could be the next big thing. Really want to see him and O’Riley in the same starting line up

Also without doubt will be a controversial opinion but I’d love to see us try Hatate,Holm and O’Riley

Agreed. McGregor has been off the pace and there's no reason why we shouldn't start this midfield three in some of the easier games.

The beauty of having a midfield three of Calmac, O’Riley and Hatate or Calmac, O’Riley and Holm or even Hatate,Holm and O’Riley is that regardless of what trio we will have two that are great at picking the ball up in deep positions and carrying us forward up the pitch. I honestly think the midfield potential this season is what I am looking forward to the most to see developing.

Just came in to say the same thing. Would like to see him given a run with Hatate out leading up to the hun match.

If Hatate's out for the next few weeks, then Holm should 100% be starting the next 2 games.

He's looked absolutely class whenever he's came on, and a midfield of Turnbull/O'Riley is far too static.

Club captain is never going to be dropped, Rodgers never did it with Brown so won't be happening with McGregor.

Personally I think the lack of mobility of Turnbull and O'Riley in the same team, doesn't show McGregor to best effect. Rodgers has tried it because of what's rumbling in the background with Hatate but it's not a long-term solution.

Love it how he let's players tackle empty spaces because he's too quick for them :84:

Promissing player. He looks phisically weak but seems to be able to compensate that with his technique and understanding of the game.

Needs to start next couple of games to get ready for Ibrox. We will get run over the top of if we go with Turnbull and O’Riley there.

Trying not to get carried away here but if he keeps going as he is then he's basically the new Zidane.
