    Not really. People didn't want the signing for a variety of reasons, but now that he's here what are people meant to do? Not go to matches? don't cheer when he scores?

    Nah, you back him because he is a Tim, but if he steps out of line at any point then I would expect the goodwill to disappear fast.

    The majority of people in the Griffiths thread who were aprehensive of the signing were critical of the person, not his footballing abilities.

    You can back him as a celtic player - doesn't mean you have to like him as a person.

    I'll obviously support him once he's out there on the pitch and trying to score goals for Celtic. I can't pretend I'm happy we've signed him though.

    personal insults about our players should be stopped on the forum...

    the mods are quick enough to ban people insulting other members but it seems our own players are not given the same status.

    well its a stupid question and a stupid poll. No wonder players don't bother with forums because some fans are hard work.

    He's delighted to join Celtic and can't wait to get started and an hour later there are stupid polls and stupid comments.

    I don't support Leigh Griffiths, I support Celtic. If by scoring he adds to the success of Celtic, then yeeha. I've admitted I've probably been too harsh on the guy for his previous and everyone deserves a second chance.

    I did say when people were celebrating when it looked like he might not sign that it will be embarrassing if he ended up signing and that is what happened.

    Those same people are now saying they will support him. Fickle as it gets.
