Not Actually that Crucial a Summer as of August 2023...beginning to now think everything isnt fine!

If we lose Kyogo too we have our work cut out big time. I think he’ll be away as the board are ruthless and know he’ a peak value. Which is probably £10m judging by the JJ and Jota fees when you take age etc into consideration. Absolute nothing when you see how important his goals are.

 

Things are fast going from a crucial summer to a critical summer now. Rodgers needs to get this right.

Aye, bit more pressure on Rodgers and the board than iriginally expected. Replacing Abada seemed to be the biggest concern.

Replacing Jota will be really difficult.

Well ange did warn us that players would be moving on in the summer just hope jota isn't the start off a exodus.. Still think the biggest loss would be ccv he is vital for us as much as kyogo imo..

 

Would take anything he said with a pinch of salt seen as he was working his ticket from about March. What was gonna happen at us in the summer was last thing on his mind

 

I hope we have about 4-5 quality players coming in. This window becomes bigger by the day.

 

Maybe it's a good thing. Stuff gets stale once they've won everything. New team, new era and new hero's. Time to go again.

 

Do not trust brendan rodgers to be able to adequately replace the departing players with similar quality, irrespective of what budget he may or may not have.

That's Mooy gone, it's absolutely turning to a rebuild now. If Tilio is confirmed, I hope that the last of the projects for a bit. We need quality in now.

 

We really need to be working full time to bring in QUALITY signings and not just the projects we've heard about. We need players in and settled.

I think finding talent at reasonable prices is going to be harder than ever. We will need to spend big to replace good players.

Add into that we've been linked with nothing but projects and our new manager seems to think Forrest has a role to play if "he can stay fit"????

We were looking at signing 4 maybe 5 players to compete/ improve positions like LB, CB etc.

Now we have to REPLACE players, and are hearing the manager chatting bollocks about a player who has been done for 3 years now.
