A few weeks ago I was thinking the end of the season will be soon, life will be boring until August with no football, now I think we are in a crucial time of our clubs history and actually we have the chance to upgrade the squad and potentially kick on to a new level if the owner and board commit the investment.

I think we could potentially see a few starters leave this summer, I just hope that the new manager can bring in similar or better quality players,

Kyogo, Abada and Starfelt will possibly leave and maybe Hatate, and O’Reily,

we will also cut away some of the fringe or non starters. Welsh, etc

so this could be quite a window I think we we will do a bigger rebuild than the Huns, I just hope that we get the manager in quickly

I think a few above are correct we could easily lose 6 to 8 players this window from the squad

Ange will come back for 2 possibly 3 and there will be interest in 3-5 more.

    Abada
    Turnbull
    Kyogo
    Jota
    Starfelt
    Matt
    Hatate

Will all have interest this summer could be quite the rebuilding job ange did say players from that cup final won't be here next season

With Ange leaving it was always going to be a massive rebuilding job.

Targets would have been scouted and looked at for Ange and they will have the attributes for his system.

So when the new manager comes in they will have to look for players from scratch, again not ideal for the overhaul we need.

Also the zombies are more settled, make no mistake they will challenge us more next season cause we need to start again if the board get the appointment wrong.

I can see us loosing 4/5 first team players on the back of Ange walking away.

We needed around 3 quality players to walk into the side before he left we could be potentially looking at 8 if we lose a good few which is likely to happen.

    Massive, massive summer ahead.

Players will already feel unsettled and start talking to their agents. I don't think Ange will be looking to take many, he's operating in a different market now. We head to Japan in a months time, the new manager will have to be in place in a week, especially if JK and GS go too. I wonder what the travelling party to Japan will look like, management and players, it will be interesting.

we need to get a couple of scouts set up in japan ,it would go a long way to mitigate the loss of ange to have our finger on the pulse over there

Will be interesting to see if we ever use that market again after ange leaving good point about keeping finger on pulse

Unless we are going to appoint Muscat or another manager fae Japan I don’t see us using that market as much as Ange did if we go for a European option.

You're looking at a minimum of £70m there and we should've been looking at replacements for them long before this window. You'd like to think we'd be fine.

Ange will not be taking any Celtic players.

Yes we have quality but given the budgets and systems they have in place, he won't be shopping at Celtic for barging deals.

It's up in the air what happens with Kane and Richarlison so Kyogo ain't going there.

Hatate is fantastic but with the money Spurs have they will look elsewhere for more commanding central midfielder.

If Son also stays and maybe Ange pushes to sign Dejan Kulusevski permanently.

Spurs will have a net spend of £80 million if they sell Kane and then invest on top of the sale... none of that will be Celtic players.

However guys like Abada will likely leave regardless but I doubt any Celtic player goes to Spurs

I get that but the new manager might want to use another market.

Just don’t see us using Japan as much as Ange did.

tbh we've milked that market and need to probably leave it alone to saturate again. I'm not saying we should completely ignore it, and I hope we don't. We shouldn't be bringing in players from any league constantly every window. We should be targeting lots of leagues, not solely one.

I really hope we don't wait another twenty years before we dip into that market though.

I agree with what you are saying.

tap into it but we have used it loads recently and we can get quality elsewhere too.

Should be far more than £70m in that list, mate? Surely to *.

Kyogo and Jota should be £20m plus.

Hatate and Abada should be at least £15m each.

O'Riley and Starfelt should be £8m-£12m each.

Would be hoping for near £85m for all them.

Can't see us losing all them this window though.

Can we please stop with the * rebuild nonsense from absolute panic merchants.. And selling all our top players just because Ange left.. its * embarrassing..

All of our squad are on good contracts and are professionals. They will play for whoever is in charge.

Yes we will probably lose players and get offers but we always do and more often than not we replace them and can refuse to sell..

    * rebuild :56: we are not the huns

Still think other leagues has players like him like in Scandinavia etc.

I think we will be watching it but won’t tap into it like Ange did or the amount of players he signed.

Crucial that the new manager demonstrates both sides of the key management skill to be able to come in and have the personality/charisma to bring the current squad with him while also being able to quickly identify and move on any players who aren't fully on board.
That being said I think it's important that the new manger puts his own stamp on the team and after a couple transfer window it's obvious that this is his team.So I'm pretty comfortable with the idea of players moving on for the right money if its reinvested as it should be. For me the 3 players I would be most relectant to lose would be CCV, Cal and Kyogo. I think the rest are relatively replaceable depending on the exact ideas and style of the new manager.
Ange leaving gives us the opportunity for a refresh which could see us take the next step and becoming a serious Euopean quality side. Of course the managerial apointment will be the major deciding factor.
