We have 13 or 14 players in our squad that are not good enough to even challenge for a first 11 spot and wouldn't be missed if they left today. 2 keepers that are literally of no use and one well past his prime.

That to me is a failed transfer policy.

Like any window we'll only know how good it's been once the dust settles. I've not got huge hopes for Bernardo and Palma but hoping they prove to be brilliant signings.

Centre half is well covered and while I'm frustrated we haven't signed a goalie, a starting left back would go a long way to improving the team.

What's clear about this window is how poor the timing has been. We had the chance to go out early and make some statement first team ready signings, giving them time to bed in, and we've * it. That's led to dropped points and being papped out the first trophy available and that is down to total negligence.

Your panicking. Did we think jota would have made such an impact? Going by his old loan.. not really. Did we really think kyogo would have turned out any good? We never, we just had to wait. We don't sign players that are well known so only time will tell. I'd * love to be signing players I'd actually heard of aswel but it never happens. Can only trust we bring in players in positions that we are weak and fingers crossed.

Weeks ago he likely wasn't our top target, we've been linked with podence for ages and probably enquired about others the rags haven't got a sniff of.

In fairness Kyogo was known to the manager and his #1 target. Jota was an amazing signing, Im not sure who that was down to but fairplay. We also spent nearly 12 million on both of them, that's what happens when you spend decent money.

Now compare them to Scales and Kwon for example.

We made massive money on Jota and would do too if we sold Kyogo. This is where we should be in terms transfer strategy in my opinion. Not trying to make money off Scales and Kwon type signings.

We could go to the next level but just can't seem to do it

Sorry mate, but I think people have been justified in their anger. I was actually calm about it all until last week.

Why was the right players always going to go to the wire? Because that’s what we’re used to? Do you think we are now getting the right players? Was our plan all along to spend money on projects and then bring in first team players on loan in the last few days of the window?

We still haven’t addressed the left back or goalkeeping problems we have with less than 48 hours left in the window.

We have already been knocked out a cup and are about to Ibrox, a game that will probably have a huge bearing in the outcome of where the title ends up this season, and we are either going to have players in the starting eleven that will have trained once if we are lucky with their teammates. Or we are going to have new signings sitting in the stand as they have been brought in too late. That might be acceptable to you and a lot of others, to me that’s a shambles.

One question, answer honestly. When Rodgers arrived and he was talking about signing players to take us further in Europe, did you expect us to be where we are at this stage?

Every transfer is a risk of sorts and we seem to have risked more than we needed to on young projects..

However, its far too early to say one way or the other if they'll be a success or not and ultimately the window..

Holm and Yang look promising, Tilio not played, Kwon only a friendly..

Palma and Bernardo(if we get him) will be starters..

And we'll find out more about Lagerbielke on Sunday. Nawrocki looks OK too, so far..

A quality LB, another ST and the window looks good..

A DM and GK are needed too tho but looks unlikely and that is definitely disappointing, especially GK..

However, we may look back on this window as one we added real quality... or not, time will tell..

Honestly was excited about the prospect of signing some quality players early doors, players with power that he referenced. It's disappointing it's not happened that way, but I don't think it's been through neglect. I think if we could have we would have but it's just the nature of the beast, good players have plenty of options so to assume the club are at fault is not seeing the bigger picture.

For the record, I do get the anger/frustration, am not trying to tell folk they're out of order for getting restless. I just think too many people have ut in their heads that we are a joke outfit who don't give a * about being successful. It's so childish man, thinking the suits are sitting around the board room coming up with ways to sabotage their own operation.

By all means vent frustration at how things have went, but try keep in mind that players/agents/clubs are working to their own agendas, not just dancing to our tune.

His side also had CL Qualifiers tho..

However, the speed of our business has definitely been a shambles this window..

Being out the Cup and dropping points for me is squarely on Rodgers for me..

The squad is/was absolutely strong enough to get a result at Killie and beat St. Johnstone at home..

    Although injuries are horrendous tbf..

If we drop points on Sunday, then maybe its an argument..

The number of points earned on Sunday will again be down to tactics. Such as telling Kyogo to drop deep, or playing without a midfield destroyer. The only signing that could decide a game on his own would be a good GK, but we seem to not be looking for one desperately.

What changed ? This is what I don't get. Was it a con all along? Either the club lied to him, or he lied to us to make his comeback seem more palatable. No excuse for the state of the squad.

He lied to us, but revealed the truth about a month ago. Nothing big was promised to him, and certainly no 15M pounds signings.

Surely the City group have a promising young LB that can get to the byline and hold a defensive line?

None of the players look like they have the pace and power Rodgers has spoken about though.

Palma seems to be the only one remotely like that. Bernardo looks a bit cumbersome. I’m really hoping a new LB fits that bill, we really need it.

If we've been briefing the press that left back is done I wonder if it's someone playing tonight in europa league and his club won't let him go till after the game

It's shocking to think that we haven't sorted out our LB problem since KT left. Sheer negligence. Signings should have been made pre-season to bed guys in etc. but here we are with a weaker first eleven than last season. It's all right saying we are getting extra money in from the CL however, it's probably just going to lie there gaining interest.

The worst part is that's not even the longest we've been waiting to fix a position. We've been waiting a * decade for a half decent DM since Wanyama left. At least GT had an excellent 18 months in the inverted role.

No seen Tillio or Palma yet, but Yang looks a player, the 2 centre halves look good and the boy Holm looks good. Your jumping the gun a bit with your criticism mate, there's clearly more coming in, let's see what happens.
