    Struggled all summer to get players in, now we're expecting 5 in the space of a week, big ask, not to mention trying to get rid of the deadwood that remains.

    Wasted a lot of time and seems like a lack of planning, hard to comprehend that we can be so inept.

    Manager Brendan Rodgers said Celtic are "working on it" in the background when asked about interest in out-of-favour 26-year-old Southampton defender Lyanco.

    Southampton manager Russell Martin's omission of Lyanco from his squad for Saturday's 2-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers has fuelled speculation that an imminent exit for the centre-half could be on the cards.

    Luis Palma's father has spoken of his pride at the prospect of watching the 23-year-old play Champions League football as the Honduras winger is poised to complete a £3.5m transfer to Celtic from Aris, with his first club, Via, due a percentage of the fee.

    I still can’t get my head around just how much of a mess we have made of this window. Both from ins and outs.

    We bring in close to £30m (more actually but had to give Benfica their cut of the Jota deal). Have spent about half that amount of money but signed arguably one player for the starting 11 and lost 3 who played a big part last year.

    Have what seems like a good few unhappy players kicking around or guys who want their move.

    Haven’t signed one player that really fits the description of what the new manager said he was looking for maybe with the exception of Nawrocki.

    It really is insane how a bunch of so called professionals can get something that is meant to be their jobs so wrong. Yet seem to think it’s fine.

    We got rid of Dom McKay for less.

    That's our window over then. Palma and that's us. :lol:

    If this were true, why would the club make a rod for its own back. 5 doesn't seem realistic from the pace they move at and, the quality needed.
