    At this point i don't trust we will get 1 let alone the 4 we need at this point i'd go for CB (one that could play Left Back or Defensive Midfield would be great), LB or DM depending on CB, LW and GK.

    For example KT, a Wanyama type DM, Podence and maybe Dubravka would be good

    I’d be very surprised if we don’t get 3 in at a minimum. Chill everyone. Time to panic is deadline day.

    This post is aimed at myself also :giggle1:

    Just to add to that. Ange’s first season we got Jota, CCV and Giakoumakis on deadline day. Imagine we never got those? * would’ve been GRIM. In hindsight we look back at that as a great window but it could’ve been an utter disaster. There’s time to swing this window big time.

    Rodgers remains confident Celtic will be stronger after the window shuts on September 1. He said: “Hopefully. Hopefully. I would say we have strengthened the squad.

    “It is the team we need to improve. There has been a lot of really good work done on bringing in Yang and Odin Holm and all these guys. Who will end up, I’m pretty sure, being very good players for the club. But what we want to do is improve the team. That is probably where it is weaker.

    “I’m not anxious. I think we are all comfortable and know where we are at. We know we need to improve.”

    Rodgers remained tight-lipped on Palma but it’s understood Celts are in the hunt for the wide man who has been impressing with Aris in Greece. The Hoops gaffer also confirmed contract talks are still ongoing with Hatate and Liel Abada.

    Are you starting to think there's some kind of battle going on? I mean, suddenly this "Republican" guy rears his head saying we're getting signings in, then Romano says no, we're focussng on extending contracts, then Rodgers says we're getting signings in. It's starting to feel like some kind of difference of opinions or internal battle is going on.
