Not Actually that Crucial a Summer as of August 2023...beginning to now think everything isnt fine!

I think the January windows have played a part.

We were incredibly efficient during both under Ange, essentially had all of our business done before the window even started, was a nice change to proceedings.

Both summer windows weren't exactly fast, CCV was signed within the last 2 hours of the first window under Ange.

Lastly, the huns basically finished 90% of their business in July, and I think people are taking that into account as well, despite the majority of their signings being Journeymen and free agents.

I was expecting at least one other player in by now alongside Nawrocki, and the lack of solid rumours outside the Swedish boy is a bit worrying, but I've no doubt we'll get another 3 players in at least, hopefully more, just hope we start seeing some solid links sooner rather than later.

 

Can only share in the growing frustration here around our lack of movement. The thing is as well, I've no doubt we'll sign more players, but I've no doubt also that they'll be acne-ridden laddies bought for a fraction of what we sold Jota and Starfelt for. We're sitting on a pile of money that will be siphoned off to shareholders rather than reinvested. The lack of ambition on behalf of our board is * depressing man.

 

It's like we need the huns to do something for us to get the finger out.

 

That's always how it's been. I wonder what would happen if Rangers went bust for good, unable to return. "Old Firm" gone, and no more way to market it.
