Apparently £3m is what they're looking for. Looks like he would be a good alternative to Bernardo, instead of O'Riley.

I still hold out hope that we will spend big to replace O'Riley on someone like Gronbaek.

He is the real * deal imo. I have said that about other swedes but this one is kind of special imo.

 

We shouldn’t always call a young player a project: we should and need to be signing young players who still have potential to improve and sell on for a larger fee.

That shouldn’t mean we exclusively sign prospects, and the young players we do sign need to be good enough to actually contribute, which a lot of recent ones (Yang and Kwon as examples) aren’t.

Dahbo looks promising, and is only 18, so has some room to grow unlike Yang/Kwon who were a bit older than we signed them. Also looks to have some good height and pace, which is well-needed in this team.

 

Aye let's just no sign any quality youngsters in that case..

We all know we need first team quality in but that doesn't mean we shouldn't still be snapping up talent..

If we brought in Gronbaek, to replace O'RIley and Dahbo to replace Bernardo, I think that would be very good business moving forward. We do need to be better when we sign these youngsters if we don't see a clear pathway to the first team, initially. Which I think has been highlighted with the poor planning around young Holm.
