Like cacace my mate knows all about him been doing decent at empoli was in the a league before and st truiden. Attacking LB decent defensively also is about 6ft aswell

 

You watched him a lot at Empoli, aye Denzel? Good to have your insight as always.

 

I watch a ton of empoli and estoril. Before that I watched a lot of Nantes, thankfully I can now watch Marseille instead.

Looks OK on YouTube and playing at decent level but 2 assists in 3 and a half years since leaving New Zealand doesn't suggest he's the most attacking of full backs

Cacace was actually very decent at STVV in Belgium. Didnt understand why none of the bigger clubs in Belgiums went for him. Till I realised Empoli had a buyback-option. Decne tootion. Early 20’s, had nearly hundred games in better leagues too.

 

I've seen a few games of him in Italy but I seen most of him when he was in Belgium with STVV. As @Belgian_lad says, I was surprised none of the bigger Belgian teams came in for him.

 

I think it was because Empoli had this option. So when their bid came in STVV could only sell to them. Decent option for us. Hope there would be some5hhing in it.

 

Hope I'm ok to post this here, but that Quentin Merlin we were supposedly in for in the summer. He's just moved to Marseille from Nantes for £12m.

They were after Tavares from Arsenal. Must have turned their attention to Merlin instead. I'm pretty sure Tavares is now back at Arsenal after Forest agreed to terminate his loan. Could be an option as we get later in the window. Not sure if there were brief links to him in the summer, as well.
