I've no seen much of mckenna recently, but would I be right in thinking he's a good defender but not necessarily good with the ball at his feet?

 

Read a bit of a thread on a Nottingham Forest forum and they were slating his lack of pace, which I expected but also saying he was outmuscled a lot, which surprised me. Then again, when Scotland played England you could see the size difference all over the pitch. So maybe not that surprising.

Reeks of laziness but at least we know what to expect from him.

Sign 8 million worth of centre backs only to punt them 6 months later to be replaced by Scott McKenna for 250k

McKenna is a big * diddy. You can say goodbye to any high line or high press with him in the team. He turns like a dump truck.

But I'm sure we'll get him. Rodgers had a hard on for him last time and likes a crap defender.

I’ll say again, never happening. We have 7 centre backs at the club right now.

CCV, Scales, Welsh, Nawrocki, Lagerbielke, Kobayashi, Phillips. 3 are to be moved on, which would be Phillips and Kobayashi and more than likely Lagerbielke.

CCV, Scales, Welsh, Nawrocki to fight it out for the two positions we have. No chance are we bringing in McKenna.

Some * stirring it because Rodgers liked McKenna while he was at Aberdeen and he’s now available because Forest have spent an absolute fortune and want someone off the books.

I’ll say again, never happening. Not even convinced we will sell Lagerbielke

 

If Turnbull is desperate to leave, I could see McKenna coming in to fill the HG quota.

If we sign McKenna, just give them the league and take an extended break.

Mikey over on KDS (I know, I know) says us and the huns will battle it out for Fabio Silva at Wolves.

I'm assuming it would be a loan? Can't say I've ever been impressed by him mind you.

 

He played against us in that friendly. Wasn't great.

 

Showed a lot of promise when he was younger but careers totally stalled. Would do the job up here tho for them and no doubt win another 50+ penalties

 

He should have stayed in Porto, he’s even come out and said it due to coming to England and struggling.

Unless it’s a loan to buy I don’t see the point.

 

Fabio Silva would be fantastic if there is any chance of permanent. Doubt it though.

 

Scott McKenna would be a good signing. Did well at Forrest. Thiago Araujo I know nothing about but at least he would be competition for the left back position. Fabio Silva would be a good signing until the end of the season. One more quality signing with Hatate, Abada and Maeda to return.

That team wins the league. I genuinely think Maeda and Abada change the team completely. They will run in behind and have pace. That will hopefully see Kyogo getting much better service.

 

If it’s between us and them he’ll surely go there with Euro football and you’d imagine they’d offer a bit more which is usually the swinging point for most players.
