Read my last post^ I'm talking about the next up coming week. I know he's crap, but tonight, the WHOLE TEAM played crap.

Also, don't expect Brown to be dropped or sold, because for some reason I doubt Lennon will sell or drop him. We're all gonna have to cope with the fact that he is going to start our big meaningful games this season.

I thought Celtic could come away from the 1st leg against SC Braga with a 1-0 or 2-1 score. This would set up an exciting 2nd leg at Celtic Park.Really disappionted with the performance in Portugal.Neil Lennon has to get rid of the players that are not good enough to play for Celtic, easier said than done,of course. We need a Goalkeeper,a Left-Back,a COMMANDING Centre-Half and are crying out for a Creative Midfielder.I hope Paddy McCourt gets a game in the 2nd leg.Scott Brown will play every game for Celtic under Neil Lennon because he sees something in him.

the fact the whole team played bad is not a defense for brown continuing his usual *. he's our captain. the player who is tasked with taking the game by the scruff of the neck and not allowing us to lose. telling players who aren't contributing to pull the finger out and focus. all you get is the 1000 yd stare. he's the captain? we're pumped

I dont claim to be a manager or a player spotter etc but someone please answer me this question.

3 managers now at Celtic have all seen Brown playing ,what are they seeing in him what i dont and maybe a few more ,he is the dogs bawz.

I fear you may be right - it would confirm the suspicions about Lenny that I'm trying to keep in check.

Everyone in that midfield was giving the ball away - especially Brown.

But we had a player on the bench who we know is proven to be a cool head who very rarely gives away possession. That player is Crosas, and not only did he not start, but he wasn't even brought on when the problem - which he would fix - was screamingly apparent.

I suspect Lenny doesn't properly appreciate the value of players who can pass the ball. All he sees is energy, dig, and emotional attitude.

It's not the fact that Lenny persists with Brown - it's the suspicion that he genuinely doesn't see what it is he lacks.

brown was out when we beat rangers twice thanks to hartley and robson. gettin rid of robson was the biggest mistake ever. he should of been captain he made brown look like a wee boy.

Its got to be hard work at training (running, heavy breathing ect), thats all i can think of here, me and a lot of my mates are stumped at why this guy can make it at celtic.

as the other guy said evryone i know was stumped at robson being sold even though hes what 32 now? twice the player brown will ever be and then some

    This is an interesting question.

If it was just one manager, I would presume that either the manager just saw somthing particular he liked in his play, or that Broon had photos of him wearing suspenders and a bra.

But as you say, that's three managers in a row. GS because he bought him? TM because he brought him thru from the reserves at Hibs? Lenny because he just likes that type of player?

Dunno. Maybe he really really gives it everything at training, when other players are conserving their energy. Cos he certainly doesn't produce quality football on the park.

I think you need to be brought down a peg or two. We're not the european regulars we once were. How many of the bhoys that played have gone beyond the 3rd round of qualification and performed before?

Brown would be about the only one. We sold the rest.

Mulgrew will be a success at Celtic. You will be cheering Browns name at the end of the season.

Samaras and Loovens deserve to be shot though.
