but it can't be a full allocation, the huns have sold the seats that would be ours to there own season ticket holders.
whatever punishment the SPFL try and throw at us, I'm sure big Pistol Pete will have plenty of dirt on the whole SPFL board. he''ll know were all the bodies are buried.
the Celtic board better not fold on this issue.

Tbf this is exactly what Peter Lawwell's job should be.

He's big and ugly enough to go toe-to-toe with anyone in Scottish football. He should be our face for all the bureaucratic bullshit issues. He'd excel in that area for us and they'd be literally no one on planet Earth I'd swap him for.

Lawwell would wipe the floor with anyone from the SPFL or other clubs' representatives.

Tbh I wish we'd call out bollocks like the Hun dossier and just let Pistol have freedom to scrap with the rest of Scottish football as and when he sees fit to.

Yeah i know but full allocation has to be the only way we could return to their * hole, 700 in that corner like sittin ducks is not acceptable and never should be.

Swept under the carpet that they cannot keep away fans or players or staff members safe.

Yet, we need to get round the table with them to sort it out...

If you can't guarantee safety for the opposition at all levels and within a certain radius of your stadium, you should be fined until you can do so.

Nothing was said or done about the last time. Not even from us. This is where I'd like to see us actually say something publicly and then unleash Pistol.

the thing is, that tool Bisgrove has staked his reputation on a hun victory on this ticket issue.
he thought that Celtic would cave in on this issue but he hasn't really read the room very well.
Celtic have been keeping quiet since that abomination was spawned in 2012, all the * that comes out of that rancid club was just ignored by the Celtic board for far to long. time to call this mob out on all the * they've been spouting since there liquidation and rebirth as a brand new club.

Don't think Bisgrove actually cares that much about the outcome as much as they do just having something to fight about with us or the spfl, as long as it drags on it keeps the gullible mob on their side and takes some of the heat off them for not winning anything. You think they ever actually cared about the cinch sponsorship? It was always a PR exercise, exactly the same with their mythical dossier of corruption when the covid lockdown hit and they had collapsed on the pitch, gerrard was a game or two away form the sack and their board would have been savaged, but suddenly everyone was against them and it was a conspiracy that we were awarded the league, all was forgiven.

Once this is eventually resolved they'll just find something else to kick off about and restart the cycle, constantly looking for ways to deflect their fans anger onto anything but themselves.

The narrative of us being petty and blaming security concerns for us to continue the * between the two clubs is insidious.

And any media or pundit that says it, should stick a Celtic top on sit with 700 others with them with Rangers support overhanging them, and see if they think it’s valid.

They’ve assaulted two staff members of ours lately, tried to glass Joe Hart, they’ve banned a pundit in Chris Sutton saying themselves it was because they can’t guarantee one mans safety.

it’s not petty it’s not like for like sniping at each other two sides of the same coin like the narrative, it’s the responsibility the club has to protect their fans.

the argument is the guys that go know all this and don’t care, but the club taking that attitude would be a failure of the duty they have to uphold.

    it is unsafe.

Celtic are poised to reject Rangers' request for 800 tickets for the next Old Firm derby, according to a report.

The Glasgow giants will face each other at Parkhead on Saturday December 30 and it once again looks like there will be no away fans present. The Hoops turned down their rivals offer of a similar amount of briefs at Ibrox last month, winning 1-0 in front of a crowd made up entirely of Gers supporters

The duo have been at loggerheads over the issue for some time now with the champions feeling that such a small number places the travelling fans present at a safety risk. The final two derbies of last season were played in front of a home support only and that carried on into this campaign.

Rangers expect to be offered an allocation for the festive clash with Celtic but that will not be the case, according to the Scottish Daily Mail

Gers have cited SPFL Rule I27 which states "the home club must make provision for the admission of such reasonable numbers of visiting supporters at every home league match."

Ibrox chiefs even offered to work alongside Police Scotland to find a solution and to provide additional stewards. They've reportedly written to the SPFL but not yet asked league chiefs to intervene

As a result of the row, Premiership clubs are being asked if they would be in favour of a rule change which would see a set number of away tickets guaranteed and a vote could follow

UEFA currently require clubs to set aside five per cent of their stadium to travelling fans

So happy I don’t have to look at butchers aprons and listen to their vile chants at Hogmanay, people complaining about poor atmosphere with no away fans should be made to listen to what the huns sing, I really hope I never have to see that scum at Parkhead ever again

Don’t get why we should bow to these * when they started all this * in the first place when we were scudding them every time we played them.

“Rangers expect” is all you ever see from them. What you expect and what you actually get is 2 different things ya delusional rat *.

If they can't guarantee that our fans, players and staff can attend that shitehole safely and its been proven numerous times they can't we should continue to refuse the 700 odd tickets and therefore refuse them tickets too. * what the SPFL say.. Our ground our * rules...

Did the SPFL or the SFA take any action following the assault on one of our backroom staff -no. Did they take any action when Broony was attacked by one of their scummy fans - no. Did they take any action when glass was thrown onto the park - no. Have they ever took any action when our fans (and fans of other clubs) have been pelted with missiles - once again no. So * them. We should have spoke up more about all that * long ago however, it's good to see our club taking a stance for once.
