    Became Israel's most successful player.
    Helped Abada settle in.
    Now Ideguchi will step up.
Seems like a good and healthy way to depart.

Never been a mainstay but has done us a turn over the years, never complained, even when he wasn't getting a look in and got on with the job. Wish him all the best

Surprised. Must be Bitton himself wanting it, because I saw him staying, since Ange wants a composed player at DM at all times.

Ah, well. Kids, the bane of Celtic careers.:56:

Guess Ideguchi will either get more game time, or we are out in the shopping market?

He's carved out a glittering career here.

Israel is a horrible country. Good luck to his kids. I'd have stayed in Glasgow if I had the choice.

so long big man, thanks for 9 years of service.

Forrest, McGregor and Rogic are the only players left now with 100+ appearances for the club

I despise Israel's politics but a place which has still so many confessionally seperated schools as Scotland, well, wouldn't be my first choice either ;)

Honestly don’t know how he lasted so long.

I don’t have anything against him but he should have been sold years ago.

Good luck to the guy. Wasn't always a mainstay but kept the head down and got on with it and was reliable, most of the time.

He was never e defender and showed that with his 2 very annoying red cards. But responsable for those where above all the managers who played him there and the board who * up our recruitment every year so that we didn't have enough defenders.

Was a good squad player in my opinion. Skill-wise but also as you never heard complains or so when he didn't play for a while. So I think he has a good personality. Abada's compliments towards him says it too. Criticism of him or hate towards him purely based on his nationality where always just a sad sign how narrow-minded those critics were. Always found it strange how people show their bigotry so freely.

Apart of him leaving now or next season, I will always remember him as a unselfish servant to the club. Even if he was a good payed one :)

I’d imagine it’s probably a good place to live if you’re an Israeli.

All the best Nir, can't ever complain about his commitment. Regardless of politics I'll always wish him the best.

Pretty sure someone mentioned he had a year left so might get a little bit of cash.

Not overly fussed though, freeing up the wages will do.

Great guy for us, even if his ability and decision making could be lacking sometimes. Don't remember him ever complaining, even as we used him as a utility player all over the defensive area. If he wants to go home, he'd go with mine and a lot of others sincerest thanks for good service. Personally, I'd waive any fee if he's going, in lieu of a testimonial that he'd be due soon anyway...

It'd be brilliant if we could get a decent fee for him, 1-2 mil or so. With a year left you never know.

Actually excited by the idea of him leaving. With McCarthy and Ideguchi seemingly not up to it it'll no doubt mean we go out and sign a new first-team ready 6.
