Loved the body check he gave Lundstrum, basically telling them "you're not in control"

Came on at the perfect time to slow it down, love his lazy runs out of defence.

The difference he made was night and day. If you think he came on as they were getting more and more desperate, throwing their team forward, his interceptions & tackles breaking up their play meant that we were never really under that much pressure in the end.

He was excellent when he came on.

I’ve always quite liked Bitton, but thought his time here was probably coming to an end. However the Betis game where he captained the side was a big turning point for me. There’s been some bumps here and there, but he’s looked a much more mature player and definitely adds a bit of composure and leadership when he plays.

He clamped them when he came on, and was crucial in breaking up their play in key moments. If he keeps putting out performances like that, he definitely has a role to play here.

Showing once again that he’s not a CB but a pretty * good midfielder.

He’s pretty much the perfect substitute 6, especially to come on in games like today when we’re defending a lead and just need that extra bit of composure on the ball from deep.

He really was immense when he came in. Tightened everything up and broke up so many attacks, even managed to bring the ball upfield.

He useful player to have in the locker.
