Thought he was excellent tonight. The difference between tonight and Livi was he only dropped deep when required and played in between the lines. That’s how he’s supposed to play in this system. If he can adjust permanently including against teams who pack their defence, he’ll be a good 6 for us.

 

The useless big tadger played well last night

 

Should be holding onto him, utility man is essential with our lack of squad depth. Inconsistent but no better option right now

 

Excellent again today.

His ability to play forward passes from those deep possessions and cut through defensive lines is so important for Ange’s style.

I think years of being misused as a makeshift CB has made a lot of fans forget he's actually a decent midfielder.

 

Outstanding today, will be extremely disappointed if he's dropped when Rogic returns, should be Bitton CalMac and Rogic as the first choice MF

Big useless * hasn't been useless these last 2 games, excellent displays. Fair * to him.

 

Incredible how the club, and all the managers he's been under- nobody ever bothered to play Bitton in his natural position. Right now, he doesn't even look so powderpuff, while his positioning to receive the ball and start attacks is incredible. Rogić and him should rotate for a spot in the midfield.

 

Was considering doing a @Notorious and just copy and pasting that for the day

 

I'm sure Rodgers played him in the centre of midfield with Brown when Moussa battered them 5-1. We just kinda through him in at the back because we refused to go and buy a * centre back.

 

Played there under Ronny, Lennon and Rodgers, then Rodgers ‘converted’ him.
