No question. The effects can linger on for months afterward. We could be looking at lengthy layoffs for Biton, El Hemad and Edouard. Obviously what is most important is their health that is first and foremost. I have not heard anything to suggest any of them are in a bad way thankfully so that it seems is not an issue. But this virus affects the lungs and the heart and even a small lingering impact in those areas can mean devastation for an elite level professional athlete and can be something that takes a long time to recovery from 100%.

I got a case of typhoid fever when I was in my early teens and went from one of the best of my age group in the north of Scotland in the 100, 200 and 400m, to one of the slower guys in my PE class.

It didn’t last forever, and I didn’t have anything close to the type of support Bitton will have, and technically Typhoid isn’t even a virus.....but an infection can * you in an athletic sense for a long time. Even at a young age I don’t think I was back to normal for about a year after getting the all clear.

 

This is what I fear for our guys. Assuming Biton, El Hemad and Edouard are not in any danger with the virus they may still be out months with this virus because of the lingering effects it may have on them especially cardiovascular wise.

 

Totally so far on the low end of estimates we are talking about a virus that has killed over 1.1 million people around the world. Utterly contemptable comment.

You have your opinion on the Pandemic Hoax and I have mine. I posted the stats of Scotland's mortality rate year to year for all to see. If you believe the main stream narrative, that's your right and I'll respect that.
