We will be lucky to have a team left at this rate.

It’s just not how it works. A player in the Scottish camp tested positive the other day and the whole team didn’t have to isolate. Hundreds of players have tested positive in football and it’s just usually that one player who isolates. Mane or Thiago for example.

We should recall all players on international duty , 3 players down now , Eddie , Christie and now Bitton .
We have a huge game next weekend and the 3 players would have been involved , so what will the SPL do apart from rub their hands with delight ?
That should be it no more players on international duty as the club carries the risk not the nation .

There is no point, the rules are totally arbitrary. Same as when football returned in Germany, players could grab each other and jump on the top of another but hugging when celebrating goals or shaking hands before the game wasn't allowed because "muh infection risk".

At the same time league protocols determine players have to stay in bubbles but then mix up with guys from 15 other teams and play against guys from 15 another from another country.

All of this for athletes that frankly have a higher chance of dying from a meteor impact than from Covid.

I was critical of this bullshit from the beggining but I knew it would take an example of us being specifically * over for people to understand why it doesn't make sense.

Whether it makes sense or not, the rules are officially the same for the other teams in our leagues.

Yes i stated that the minute we got pumped out the CL and noticed this virus was heading in an crazy direction.

This is our most important season, and the EL is just a sideshow this season for us,but a sideshow that can cause severe damage to our team for going for the 10. Already look at whats happened with the Internationals, yes the Clubs Bubble will be a little easier in Europe, but only a little.

Flying all over Europe, through Airports, hotels etc is a risk to them all regardless of the club bubble.

For the right reasons i wanted us out the EL this season, concentrate on last years treble and this years 10 and stay in our own country.

No european money, no money spent in the stands. If that happened 100% eduard was gone, along with atleast 2 others.

We dont make that much in this tournament anyways (yes every little does help, but it aint CL money),No fans in grounds,or mechandise, again no money in till.

The board have well enough to keep eddie, the money we have made over the years has been great, even greater if we qualified for CL in last 2 seasons.

For playing reasons, again the EL is not anywhere near the CL in terms of quality as we know,if Eddie and others want to leave because we didnt make the EL then thats on them,im pretty sure that eddie has thrown the dummy out since our exit in the CL not the EL.

Again in my opinion we are risking a lot to play in this tournament and its just not worth it for this season.

Och, I know, it's just * me right off now, I'm not sure if it's even finished at this point.

The teams taking a hammering between this and injuries and playing these * at the wrong time.

Another one tested positive for COVID, getting silly now. This proves that international football should never have been allowed to go ahead.

I've not seen them play, but bang average teams don't get their EL results.

It’s a massive blow to lose those three, no doubt about it (if indeed we have lost all three, Edouard as far as I know is still a maybe).

Edouard has been a bit off the boil but is a class act and a total hun-skelper. No doubt he would’ve started if not for covid. Christie has probably been our most attacking threat this season and Bitton our best central defender.

We're playing them in the SPFL not the EL, they were held by a Hibs team we dismantled at ease the following week all while we were supposedly in terrible form & they were flying.

    We shouldn't fear them whatsoever.

Not only last season, mate. Their qualifying results this year were very impressive too.

Ajeti wasn't quite 100% match yet fit even before this layoff. I'm sure he'll be able to play, but he won't be 100% and that's important. Griffiths has had one substitute appearance, he won't be anywhere near match fit. Not even close.

That's one result, mate. Yes, I do have misgivings about playing a team that dismantled one of the better Dutch teams and then comfortably beat Galatasary precisely at a time when we have several of our key players missing and they appear to have everyone available so far.

That's not fear. That's common sense. To be clear, with everyone fully fit and available, yes I think we are better.
