Say that to the Palestinian children they have killed.

Some of the comments on this thread belong on a Rangers forum, sickening.

You underestimate how much some of us have looked into this. It is quite clear that the Palestinians are more victoms than sinners and have suffered immensely for decades and that the blame for matters firmly lies with the Israeli government, the US, the former British administration, other Arab countries and then maybe certain Palestinian groups in that order. It's an Apartheid regime considerably worse than the terrible one in South Africa.

This notion of a left-wing media in this country brainwashing people is laughable. The media in this country does quite the opposite, not least with regard to Palestine.

In Israel it's mandatory to serve at least one year in the military. It wasn't his choice if you think about it. He's obviously going to be patriotic about his country and has the right to his opinion. He's getting more abuse than Rihanna did for her #freepalestine tweet ffs

haha I agree with you though mate.

    We've been brainwashed?

    * *.The media in the UK are overwhelmingly pro-Israel.It's common knowledge, and only the most hopelessly biased supporter of the Zionist state could disagree. This week alone has seen many thousands protesting outside the BBC because of their despicable coverage of Israel's assault on the people of Gaza.
The cold blooded murder of children playing on the beach, patients in hospitals, people hiding in family homes.Do you support these heinous crimes 100%?
The definition of terrorism is 'the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes.' That sums up Israels behaviour since it's foundation entirely.A genocide is taking place in Palestine, home demolitions, confiscation of land (what's left of it) and the relentless bombing of a refugee population, who cannot leave because of the sadistic blockade, and have no choice but to stay in their open air prison camp, and pray that the next bomb doesn't land on them.Anyone who shows explicit support for the sheer brutality we've witnessed in the last week either has not an ounce of compassion in their body or has been hopelessly brainwashed themselves.

You should hang your head in * shame.

Well it's just far more complicated than just simply Israel bombing places to intentionally kill innocent people. Are innocent people being killed in Africa? Are innocent people being killed in Iraq, Afgahinstan and Syria? One is being reported, the other isn't. You have to consider why that is.

    Is it to spread antisemitism?

Are we saying that innocent civilians are only being targeted by Israel? What about the Palestinian refugee camps in Syria? They're in a much worse predicament and that is arab against arab.

Stuck between two terror factions, they can't get back into Palestine, because they now have Syrian-Palestinian passports, Can't get into Iraq, Can't get into Europe or Jordan. Exactly the same fate when the Jews were not allowed to leave Europe after the First World War.

Essentially Palestine is used to drum up antisemitism, if the arab nations were serious about it, they would surely take in the Palestinian refugees slowly dying in Syria and that is not reported in the same way.

200,000 people have been slaughtered in Syria and i don't see any huge street marches in the UK for that one.

There is enough gas off the coast of Israel/Gaza to power Europe for the next 20 years. Hamas have threatened to blow it up. I'd hazard a guess that all this just now is to take out Hamas' infrastructure to stop that happening and it has to be hidden from satelites. So therefore it has to be hidden in safe places, where if it does get hit innocent people die and it becomes a PR disaster for Israel and it grows antisemitism.

This is why politics should be left out of our club, too much division.

Both sides make valid points, I'm personally anti-zionist but at the end of the day Hamas can go * themselves too. Biton is young and was CONSCRIPTED by law into the IDF, some of the judgements on him here by a minority of daft wee keyboard freedom fighters is * embarrassing. Get a grip, don't like his personal views? Don't follow him on instagram then. According to some of you wallopers we should vet players on their political views before we sign them? Sound like that mob.

Keep politics out of football ?

This is what the board have been telling us for a while now.

Now we have a player supporting an army guilty of the slaughter of women and children.

Maybe thays why people are asking for action from the board, but it only seems Irish politics is the only thing people get punished for bringing into the fore.

One side is fighting for their lives and their homes against a much larger, stronger, richer, more technically advanced side who is just murdering and committing genocide to force the others out of their 'holy land'.
