Did well last night. Maybe CB is his best position.

Conversely, i felt the opposite - as if he downed tools and believed he was better than Celtic. I seem to recall it was around the time of his EPL transfer rumours that his performances dipped.

Thought the big man strolled it last night, BR must like him or he wouldn't be here.

Even after a good performance in a big European game you still have a go at him? Not the time, give him a break ffs.

"Aww * sake, Boyata man. He's a bomb scare. Get him to *"

    Two months later

"Big Boyata, tremendous. First name on the teams sheet"

You can change the name and stick in any player in the squad, Armstrong,Brown,Lustig and so on.

I personally like Bitton and think he brings quality to the side. His appearance and demeanour works against him (Samaras,Ki and others have been mistaken in the past), because folk would rather/ can't get past the getting "* into tackles". Well the last time he * into a tackle, he was sent off against Ajax. So if that's the outcome, then maybe its better off he doesn't.

He does have qualities, many of which we seen last night. Composure on the ball and ability to pick passes. Qualities I would prefer our players have, rather than "dig" etc. We already have someone in the side who takes care of that. Leaving the rest to go and be creative, score goals and win us games.

It's not really a bold criticism though, is it?

He was worth the money just for that goal against Ajax.

Honestly thought he was caught out of position quite a bit... In know it's not his natural role, was good on the ball but that's about it. I'd rather ajer or lustig at CB and Gamboa at RB

will be honest, when i seen him coming on i was not too happy.. based on nothing more than he 'looks' like a lazy player and is prone to mad moments

Thought he done well and will be interesting to see where Brendan sees his future playing position

Not necessarily a bad thing mate. Look at Van Dijk he never looked under strain or pressure when he was here but still absolutely strolled it. He has continued with that style down in England and done a lot better than some of them down there thought he would.

Nope indeed it is not! Just don't think Rodgers sees him as a regular.

However I've said before that he does have his uses. A few times now he has came on in games and changed the flow. Aberdeen away back end of last season was another. Can remember a Euro game from last year too where he had a big influence..might have been Hapoel away.

So many bitter folk that can't give the big man the praise he deserves. Embarrassing.

The fact we never got horsed last night when he came in shows he must have had a decent game.

It's honestly so sad, we all know the reasons why people won't give him any credit.

That's bollocks if your alluding to the fact of his nationality. Your painting a poor picture of our support. And it needs to stop. Biton has the potential to do so much more than what he put out at the end of last season. The people you think are being anti semetic are probably the guys who were praising him to high heaven during his purple patch.
Our support are not as feeble minded as you make out.
