    lanky version of his compadre berkovic.....he's just a luxury we can't afford in big games and we've got too many between now and end August.

    He's top of my list for offloading in the summer and i usually hate this kind of talk but he's had enough * chances. Most of us could look silky when we're 3 to the good and the sun's on our backs but would i like him beside me in the trenches..no chance.

    If you would ask me before the game which player I definitly wouldnt started like Rodgers... I would have picked defo.


    He still produces the same * performances (when we are getting pressed) like at his first cameos under Lennon.

    Think people are being extremely harsh, fair few players were far worse than he was yesterday, Sinclair & dembele being two. He isn't good enough going forward if we have CL aspirations but telling him to * off etc... is OTT.

    He's a luxury player, a player you bring on when two or three up, to help close out a game.

    Very rarely he takes a game by the scruff of the neck and drives us forward.
