    Another big game.

    Another let down from him.

This should have been addressed in the summer. Where are all the folk who said it was an overreaction when people were complaining about not signing a defensive midfielder ? Last night, yet again, highlighted how big an issue that area is for us.

Totally agree, we cant go into the other games with this formation. If we do we will get stuffed by city and gladbach, I thought paddy roberts didnt give any cover.

Would rather develop McGregor and Armstrong...

He thinks he's much better than what he is which is a flaw in his make up...

Huge shitebag, heart is not in it, hardly breaks sweat whilst Broony, KT and Toure are throwing bodies on the line for us. He has ability, but not the ability to play for Celtic in the Champions League. He's the only CDM I have seen at this level who can't tackle, bark orders or defend. He hasn't got a football brain which is fundamental when playing holding mid in CL. Oh and how many stupid fouls does he give away? Like folk said, he wants to be sent off. How many times have we been here before? Punt

    Agreed.

Im sick of this lanky streak of pish, his * lazy * ldoesnt get back to cover quick enough or even at all.

He is in no way a CDM, he can't tackle, lacks pace, is a lazy * who allows players to go past him.

Kieran Tierney bails this * out about 6 times every * game, meaning
he is pulled out of position, makingit look as though HE is playing poorly when actually he is covering LB and CDM because of this imposter.

    Get him out

I think Armstrong would be a far better option in there, he is mobile, works hard and has pace everything Biton is not

Maybe as temporary solution. Definitely not long-term though, not if we have greater aspirations than Scotland.

    Frustrating player.

Think he is being used as a scapegoat in here though.

    In what way?

Unless of course I've missed people saying he is the sole reason why we lost last night?

He seems to be getting more pelters than anyone else, minus perhaps De Vries, when the whole side was just completely outclassed.

I find it a bit pointless.

I think he is a hugely frustrating player but I do like him. In the long run he won't last here. The reaction to him reminds me of Ki at times, although he was a better player.

Its no just last night though mate. Hes mince in every game where we need to dig in and fight for the team. *, hes gash most games domestically. Being good on the ball and putting a few nice 5-10 yard passes about is all well and good if you show its going to change a game. Whens the last time he done that for us, if ever?

Ki got pelters but went away and proved hes a solid player down south. Will Bitton go down to the EPL and do that? No * chance. He'd be as well going back to Israel.

Bitton is a frustrated Rogic type player. Wants to play the lovely passes, have the cracking shots & do the silky wee Zidane skill. What we need is a hard as nails, rough & ready DM that breaks up the play, can read the game & keeps it simple. Been crying out for one since Wanyama left & we have never replaced him. Going into this Champs League group stage we should have went all out to get one, even if it was just on loan. We will suffer in this Group.

Its really frustrating watching him as I genuinely believe he has the talent, the ability but not the mentality to be a top player. He coasts through some games against the smaller teams but as soon as he has to dig in, he doesn't want to know. A really dangerous combination. Time is almost up for him unless he can screw the nut.

Also, I have yet to see him score a dead ball chip.

Why was he ever labelled as a CDM type player he cannot defend and barely gets close to people.

He is good technically, he can hold it in , protect it and can pass and shoot.
But physically he cant run, he cant tackle, he has no pace, he is slow to distribute the ball and get counter attacks going.

He gets easiliy beaten by players and doesnt trying to get back and cover the huge hole in midfield that he just created.

Im sorry but for too long he has been playing one decent game in 10 and getting rave reviews, his attitude and mentality is just not good enough anymore for a club of our stature and outambition

He can go now ive had more than enough of him costing us goals, he is a holding player nothing more he cant defend but he gets the ball and holds the * for to long loses it or our attackers run offside waiting for him to pass it
