Weird how different people can watch the same game and form completely different opinions on what happened. Guess that's what makes football interesting to talk about.

Unbelievable. I wonder if some people are watching the same game.

Bitton wasn't great tonight but he's a far, far better player than Griffiths.

A love Bitton a really do, you can see the qualities there, but midfield is probably the most important area of the park because that is the area where most of the football is played. Most of the time the team who controls the middle of park wins the game.

We just don't look like controlling matches at this level even away in Malmo they dominated us. How many times did we lose the ball it's unreal.

Bitton doesn't dominate unless it's in the SPL matches.

He was class tonight, thought they looked scared of him tonight.

Had a different job tonight, he was a box to box midfielder rather than the tempo controller. He was outstanding.

In a midfield 3 like tonight doing that is invaulable, same when its just him and Brown in the league - by going beyond players he's creating space for others to run into and thats how you open teams up. Khedira is a master at this and plays in the same role.

The more advanced role suited him I thought.

It was clearly his role today, the role you describe was Scott Brown's tonight.

His sole role in the team was to get forward fs:smiley-laughing002:

He was in an a more advanced roll but was still in the middle of the park as was Brown and Commons.

Commons was excellent and keeps the ball great, very clever player. Bitton didn't.

Commons was on the right wing mate.

He is until he drifts in like he did umpteen times. Commons isn't a natural right winger his best position is the middle

It is his best position but tonight he was playing on the right, not in the middle. He only got in the middle a few times and that's when he was at his best.

Bitton was different class though, was moving the ball forward, making dangerous in behind, had them struggling to cope with him and scored a very good goal.

    Excellent European display.
