Just as I thought:

 

Traded in an Xbox one S today and got the switch for £140 in Game need to see it up to see what it's like, told the Mrs it's for the kids as my Xbox one Scorpio edition has been pre-ordered by she doesn't know!

Will let ye know how the switch plays!

 

Ill get one when supersmash bros 5 comes out. If it doesnt, good. It'll save me a bit.

 

Been a week now and if anyone has kids or is an avid gamer make this a purchase.

Graphics at 1080p are decent.

Good size to hold if not on tv! Takes 3 hours to fully charge weans got about 7 hours play time out it off the dock.

Even if you start your game on the tv you can lift it off and pick up right where you left off on the handheld

Mario kart is excellent, street fighter old skool is good too.

Sonic mania runs excellent on it.

I do fancy one of these just for Mario Kart.

I have beach buggy racing for the PS4, brilliant to play with the Mrs when having a dram but lacks content.

Mario Kart and Mario Odessey mate brilliant games even for the big kids also Sonic Forces is good!

Don’t buy Fifa or wwe for it watered down versions of both games from what I have read!

 

Nintendo have nailed it with the Switch, this is what the WiiU should have been. It's not even been out a year yet and it has 2 full on Mario and Zelda games and a sequel to Xenoblade. With Nintendos handheld and console divisions both making games for the one platform now this will be their best console since the Snes. Will defo pick one of these up in a couple of months when I have the cash.

Nae *'s bothered about the Switch. Stupid wee tiny controllers that are pretty useless in * hands. Hunners a * want the SNES Mini (* knows why because only a dafty pays for an emulator and it has hardly any games on it) but Nintendo decide to under stock it so you get * on Ebay wanting £200 a pop for it. I have an American SNES and an Everdrive with about 400 games on it. That's way better than this pishy Mini because it's using the original hardware. There's no incentive for people like me to buy a Mini. I wonder if Nintendo have compensated for the change from NTSC to PAL for the UK Mini?

 

Anyone know why these are so hard to get hold of?

Me and the wee man been playing Pokemon Go on our walks and I'm buzzing to get one of these for him with one of the simple Pokemon games and a few others.

We've got a little girl on the way as well and to have this as a bit of a chill out when she's kicking off and he's feeling a bit left out would be ideal.

Looks like good fun for lockdown but everywhere is sold out. Maybe that answers my own question I dunno.
