I wouldn't have the same team playing ever week for starters.

I would have him roaming, in the centre, off the striker, on the wing. I would also have Ki and Brown on the bench more often than not. Ledley and Kayal are our central midfield partnership.

Problem with Celtic last season was on the strong belief that Ledley and Kayal partnership is the ultimate choice. The FACT is that they failed when it mattered most. I thought, as a third person, Celtic needed rotation or a slight change

As I'm not a Celtic supporter, I can say that Kayal is very very overrated by Celtic fans. And personally, I don't understand why so many Celtic supporters hate S.Brown. I think S.Brown is a great player. Better than Ledley or Kayal. He's the heartbeat of the team IMHO

You actually on the wind up? Scott Brown is good but to say he's better than Kayal & Ledley...wow that is all. Brown getting played at right mid throughout the season speaks volume of how good Kayal & Ledley have been together. Also we only lost one game when Kayal was in the side..hmm

Mitigated by the fact Lenny played 2 wingers on an awful pitch away to a very powerful, hard-working Inverness side. It was a very risky formation and on this occasion it didn't pay off. On the whole, they have shown themselves to be a very impressive partnership indeed. Regarding Kayal: perhaps he is slightly over-rated by some fans but by no means is he 'very very' over-rated by Celtic fans. He is an exceptional football player.

Lennons mistake at the end of the season was gambling with Ledley in the last game against the Orcs. He was carrying a hamstring and shouldnt have started. That came back to haunt us in the ICT game as Kayal also got injured and we were left to finish the game without our recognised centre pairing. Also the previous game at ICT Ledley was our best player and I honestly believe that if he had played in the 3.2 game we would have won.

To suggest Kayal is overrated is a gross misjudgement, or possibly you havent seen him play too often. He is the first player I have seen in some time who has been able to grab games and players by the throat and breathe fire into them. Has a heart as big as a house.

I also dont think fans hate Scott Brown, this season has been his best with us by far. Still not lived up to his potential, but by no means a hate figure and clearly gives 100%

If you're not a Celtic supporter, why are you on here? As for Kayal and Ledley being the ultimate choice, I think Iniesta and Xabi would be closer to that, but they are the best central midfield available to us at the moment. Brown can be very effective on the right, but we have three better central midfielders than him.

Back to the topic: I'd take Niko all day at the right price. Problem is, we aren't gonna get that price. Even on loan, his wages would be astronomical by Celtic standards. I really like the lad and hope he gets games somewhere this year. Just can't see it being here.

With all due respect you are talking complete and utter *. Both Ledley and Kayal were injured at the tail end of the season and we missed both of them immensely. Either way I'm not sure why I've risen to your bait, I'm not in the habit of discussing Celtic with supporters of other teams :50:

Back on topic, Nico would be an excellent signing.

With all due respect, give the man some respect celtic supporter or not, plenty of fans on here who have celtic as their second club, doesn't mean this guy doesn't have a clue, in fact he would have a non-bias view towards our players and although i disagree with his comment we do overrate our players on here from time to time ^^

And the fact Ledley wasn't playing that day or any of the run in after Ibrox. Were he got injured.

:50: This, definitely. Think it might be a bit too harsh to say Lenny made a mistake playing Ledley at Mordor though. That game was bigger than the ICT game at the time and he needed to field his best. Had he played Mulgrew at left mid at Inverness like he did in the last couple games we may not even be talking about this. The main thing though is that it looks like Lenny learned this lesson.
