    Hard to have an opinion without knowing the guy but his pedigree doesn't scream an improvement on maeda or abada. Doesn't seem the most pressing position that we need to spend money to improve either but happy to trust Rodgers

    Maeda and Abada are all about pace, which can be negated at times by a low block.. think with Kuhn, he'll be a bit more tricky..

    Palma, Kuhn, Maeda, Abada and Yang are good wide options.

    Not overly harsh. He's a workhorse for sure, but he's not actually very good at attacking for us as a winger.
    His crossing is one of the worst I've ever seen. His awareness and confidence in the final third is very suspect as well.

    Good pace, works hard, good defensively for a wide attacker, just not a winger a day in his life for us.

    If we are gonna insist on that being his position, then it's a no for me as counting him as a good enough level winger.
    Unfortunately I'm leaning that way as well. My hope is the new contract and the injury have played their part and he kicks on this second half and cements his place, develops under Rodgers and may even stay another year again. But that's 3 seasons now, if he doesn't get the development he feels to help him progress, like most young talent, he will look elsewhere eventually

    Think we desperately need at least one more winger tbh. We've got loads but MJ, Forrest and Tilio need punted. Yang could be doing with a loan.

    Leaves us with Maeda (can't beat a player), Abada (can't beat a player but gets some goals) and Palma. We really lack proper creativity and a bit of class in those positions.

    I thjnk we really lack decent creative options out wide tbh.

    There's not one winger I think we have currently that brings that pace and guile to the party.

    Yang won't be able to be relied upon anytime soon I don't thjnk. Even this guy doesn't overly scream proven quality, again. Could be class, * knows.

    But we need something. 10 days in and I'm desperate.

    Tbf most clubs scouting systems are based off of stats like that.

    When we signed O'Riley he was topping the charts around Europe for young players in loads of areas. I agree they don't tell the whole story but it's a huge part of recruitment nowadays.

    He looks rapid and there's at least 3 chances there where his teammates miss a sitter that he puts on a plate, looks of it he should be in double figures assists wise.
