In fairness to him is he really any worse than any other 'winger' at the club ?

The constant cutting in is clearly coming from the dugout and doesn't suit the players. There was one in the second half he runs on to a ball over the top he can run at goal and get a shot off or go to the byline and look for the cutback but nope he dilly dallys cuts inside then hits the first man who he has just allowed to get back.

I think when all your wingers are bad it’s an indication the tactics are rotten.

I genuinely don’t think Rodgers is putting any work in at all. I don’t think he can be arsed anymore.

He's said before Kennedy leads training. I Don think it's a coincidence we are playing a poorly as we did under Lennon, when Kennedy also took training.

Ange was very hands on with training, which would explain the far better performances. Personally if we are paying a guy £2m a year I'd be looking for him to coach the players.

I feel like the first time round, in the first season, Rodgers was probably taking training, or at least Chris Davies was doing a lot of the work.

Honestly I was a bit worried when Davies went with Ange this time.

He was probably sick to death of doing all the hard work and the * Rodgers taking all the credit.

Yeah I think Davies was likey doing a lot of it.

I always think back to Rogic scoring the winner v Aberdeen to clinch invincible treble and during the celebrations l, while everyone is going wild, you see Davies telling Rodgers something, it was likely to get Sviatchenko on. Always stood out to me that even in that moment of jubilation he was planning the next move.

Is Davies going to become our version of 'Beale was the brains behind Gerrard'?

Seems eerily similar. We need a break from the past.

I wouldn’t go that far, but he was a workhorse which I think is what we’re missing this time.

Going completely from memory here I’m sure a few players and Davies himself mentioned the first time round that they produced a document for pretty much every game that they distributed them to the players. I think Lustig said something about they would randomly ask you who you would be up against in the next game, and if that person didn’t play who was likely to be their second option.

All I’m saying is I doubt that kind of effort is going in this year. I don’t think it would’ve even continued after the first season last time either.

We can only speculate but he did seem like a valuable member of the team last time, based on the bits and pieces we heard about him.

It's not the 1st time that a successful manager has struggled after losing a key member of his backroom team.

Not saying he was brains behind it all or anything but I do think there is definitely a simialr style of * football being served up that is very reminiscent of the * football we seen the last time Kennedy was the main guy on the training pitch

They have all been rotten. Yang showing he is possibly the best dribbler but none have any final product.

They all do the same thing and have clearly been drilled with the same instructions. They are all shot of confidence and Brendan needs to change that

Mjalby, Duff, Kewell. We have lost members of the backroom staff in the past.
We had glaring defensive issues in europe in Rodgers first spell and some of those have reared their ugly heads this time round as well.

He doesnt look up to much but as others have said, neither does anyone in the current set up. Had we never seen Kyogo, maeda, Johnson, even McGregor and O'Reilly before this season, we would assume they aren't especially good. Whole side looks much worse than what we know they are capable of so I dont think it is fair to focus on Kuhn too much.

Feels like we could bring in Messi and Salah on either wing and they would look * in our system.
