Kings will prob sneak in as no 3 seed in the Pacific, they always get hot at the right time of the season. Nashville will be bumped in first round of playoffs, hard to play well all year. Be nice to see the Jets back in the playoffs.....

Never seen a player stickhandle through the goalie's legs. Buttery smooth.

Leafs fire GM and interim coach. Ho ho ho.

Real season starts now. Nucks and Flames will be a gooder.

Time to sit back relax and watch AV and the Rangers bring that cup home

I hope so. This has the potential to be the year. I am also not as confident as everyone else is thought haha. I think Pittsburgh could give NY some trouble in the first round. If the Rangers dominate and win a short series I think this could be a great playoffs.

There's change in the air in downtown Toronto, that's for sure! I know we've had a real * season, but I'm quite excited to see what we do during the summer as far as trades and management!

Actually kinda glad Boston didnt make it. 4 more games of that would be hard to watch. Hope an Eastern team can win the Cup. Think it will be Ducks though

They are also my favorite to win it. I thought they were going to win it last year too. I am hoping this is the year for NY, but if we make the finals, Anaheim is not who I want to play.

What's the word on Chiarelli & Julien then? You reckon they'll be shipped out?

We're in the market for a new GM and head coach :86:

What's your tie to Toronto out of curiosity? I noticed you referring to Toronto as "we" in the MLS thread as well.

Markov with a howler for the Habs and Halak not covering himself in glory either with the Capitals goal. Holtby looked pretty suspect on the Islanders goal.

The pressure of the Playoffs getting to some early doors.

I really hope NY can win it this year, the fans deserve it especially with how bad NY teams in all sports have been doing.

I hope it happens so bad!

That said, the NHL playoffs are very difficult to navigate. I could easily see the Rangers winning the Cup this year (or at least getting back to the finals). I could also see them losing in any round (although losing round 1 would be a huge upset).

I feared the Bruins in Round 1, I have confidence about the Pens think we dispatch them in 4 or 5 at most

Some old time hockey in the Van/Calgary game. Can't remember the last time I saw a line brawl in the playoffs. You're guaranteed a good show when two Canadian teams meet in the post-season.

Holtby * himself in OT . Should have held it , then Carlson , not looking up the wing , whips it up to the point. .

    Awful .

Isles are going to be tough . Halak just can't slump though .
